I am thinking about starting to chart and stuff but not exactly sure about at all of this. When I got preg. in 9/09 we weren't really trying. I have been off bc for like 4-5 years as of today. Since I have been off bc we never used condoms. Just always watched my cycle (28days) and he would pull out close to time to O. So when I did get my BFP we actually weren't paying attention to the calendar and DTD on day 13 & 14. I don't really know if I have any trouble getting preg. b/c we weren't ever really trying. Just always watched our days. I miscarried on 12/16/09 and was told I could start trying in Feb. at first although now that has sort of been changed to wait to try until after we see a genetic counselor. My husband and I don't want to wait until we can get in to see a gc so we would like to start trying now. I didn't know if we should just try and not worry about charting and all that or if I should go ahead and chart as well.
I technically still haven't stopped bleeding since I miscarried and they induced me. I stopped on the 15th and started spotting again on the 19th and still am spotting. I don't spot all day just mostly in the morning from 6am to about 2 or 3 pm so I am really not sure when to expect my actual first period. What do you think the best way to go about this is? Does anyone have any good site on how to temp/chart etc. because I am kind of clueless to all of this.

If I was you... I would use FF... You can click on the link of my siggy or anyones... And sign up... you can use the free... or pay for it.. (Just more bells and whistles)... But I would start now... and than you can see what you body is doing.. I would temp.. (for the longest time I just used a regular digi thermometer.. and it worked fine... It showed ovulation... (But with the BBT it wil give a 98.77.. not just the 98.8 ) But i would just do it.. if for nothing else to get to know your body.. please ask any questions.. if you need or want more info!

Definitely read the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility". It will tell you everything that you need to know about charting.

So should I go ahead and start tomorrow or wait until I get my period. I am still spotting since I miscarried and it has been 5 1/2 weeks. I checked that site and if I start now I am not sure how to put it in the chart.

I would wait until you start your period. You could start to temp now to make it a habit if you want.

I would start now since you are still bleeding... just to fool around with #1... getting used to temping like Kim said, 2, imputing data into fertility friend... Since you are still bleeding you may even get crosshairs... or show Temp elevation to signal Ovulation...

I had a m/c in September, got my first AF in October, tried without any charting in November (no BFP) and started charting and temping my December cycle which I did get a BFP with. I highly recommend charting, it helped me SO much to know when I was O'ing and I also could see a dip which I assume now was implantation and a spike the day I got my BFP. It really helped me makes sense of my cycles post m/c which changed a lot. I also switched to the digital OPKs which have a smiley face when you are O'ing. Took the guess work out of it, and I got pregnant that cycle! The basal thermometers are cheap at drug stores and easy to use. I also used Fertility Friend, the non-paid subscription chart. Good luck!

As for a Siggy... I think you have to have 50 posts to request one on the Siggy board... If you go to the main list..... scroll down... and you will see siggy and blinkie boards..... As for puting in links... Go to the UserCP under just mommies....on the top of this page or the main board page... Hit it... than on the left side of the page you will edit signature... that is were you can link your chart, put in Tickers from your angel... And you want to use the "IMG" files... Hope this helps...
