All talk, no follow through

Ok, so I said I would take only ONE test. I would wait until I was 2 weeks late and then and only then I would pee on my one test.

Well, a few days ago they had a sale on tests. I buckled. I bought four. I took one immediately just for my sanity to make sure it was a total and complete BFN. I know that my numbers after my chemical last cycle were getting down to not much, but they were still there on my third day of bleeding.

Now I know that my body was thoroughly cleansed and we'll see what this cycle brings me. Since I'm due for AF one of the last days of the month I'll probably wait until then to take the second test (next weekend). If it's positive I'll wait until mid-week to take another and then Valentine's day for the last one because that would be my dh's gift.

If it's negative then I'll save my tests just in case we have an "oops" during our "on hold" period until summer. LOL

I had great intentions but unfortunately I buckled. Oh well, if it's BFP there's nothing like seeing a nice progression of tests getting darker. LOL I will NOT buy more than I have though-- I promise!

Yeah, I was the girl who didn't test until 16 DPO...until 9 DPO last time...and then I took 19 tests (one of them yesterday LOL I'm still NUTS).

Your "on hold" time is going to be when you get pregnant, you know. And there is no Peestix Anonymous but if there was we'd all be there. You will buy more sticks, you will pee, heck, *I* might still be doing it...

I do have one digi left...want it???

Thanks for the vibes because this month is IT for awhile. LOL I truly will be a very good girl during our "on hold" time because of our very legitimate reasons for wanting to wait. You're probably right though. We're condom users and I could see one bursting or something and that would be just my luck.

I was LOL about how you've taken nearly 20 tests. A woman after my own heart. *chuckle chuckle* You know that you're going to be feeling the baby kick and then taking a test just because you're THAT addicted.

I keep feeling a very low, dull, crampy kind of feeling pretty frequently in the past few days. It's not normal and it's not AF. I keep wondering if something is going on in there. We'll see soon I suppose... it's gonna be a long, long week.

*insert a smilie here of a face drumming its fingers watching a barely moving clock*

The cramping is a good sign, I always get that with every pregnancy (although, at 5 weeks, you KNOW I'm freaking out.)

I'll watch that clock and wait with you =) And I will try and convince you to be the OPPOSITE of me for once and wait. (Although YOU were my inspiration...Miss Seven Dee-Pee-Oh...until then I waited FOREVER...)

We have to try what the other one does, just to see what happens. So hold out and be like the old me =)

Angela, ok I will be the "old you" now. You tested early so I will be a very, very good girl and hold out until the day that my period is probably due-- the 31st. IF I O'ed on approximately CD 14 when I was crampy and moody then I would be about... 14DPO or something like that. If I was a really, really good girl, I would stick to my guns about being two weeks late and wait until Valentine's Day. That would make me exactly 6 weeks pregnant and that would avoid two weeks of stressing! LOL

What would the "old you" do?

Well, with THIS pregnancy I did what YOU did...but with the loss, I tested at 16 DPO...the day my temp WOULD have dropped, I should have started my period at 17 DPO.

You don't take temps, so test the day before AF is due. Or even the day she is due. That's what the old me would do, and if I ever do this again, that's how I'll roll!!!

I can't wait! If it's positive, great, if not, there is always next time...and I know you are going to wait...but you are a walking egg...I don't think your body has plans to wait LOL =)
