I have heard that if you focus to much on ttc or try to hard that it can affect you from getting PG. How can you not focus on ttc when your ttc? LOL You have to try at the right time and then you have to test when its time. I just dont get how this could affect anything. LOL

I think that the stress involved with TTC is what can affect your fertility. Although I'm still waiting for my BFP, I know that I felt that I had a better chance once I started to relax and I stopped focusing on every little detail!

I agree with Kimberley that it can affect because of stress. Therefore, if you are ENJOYING the process, there wouldn't be any stress and nothing to worry about . I really enjoy charting BBT and I anticipate testing in 10 days.
We draw fish on a piece of paper and put it under the mattress . I buy baby clothes and I love walking in baby departments. I just try not to stress out too much.

While stress can delay your ovulation (physical or emotional) it cannot really effect your fertility. If you are stressed it will not prevent you from ovulating or conceiving, otherwise there would be no babies born in war torn countries or sadly, rape. So no, thinking about TTC will not prevent conception. That is an old wive's tale that has been refuted statistically.
