Here is my story my name is Shannon and DH is Jesse we have been TTC our first with MFI since Aug 08. On Friday I had my second bought of bleeding this month I started what I thought was AF on Jan 11 last about 2 days then start spotting again last Wednesday well to appease a friend I took an HPT and it said PREGNANT I was in complete shock the spotting continued through Sunday, Monday my doctor did and Ultrasound and there was nothing there so she did blood work and my HcG was only 26 and my progesterone was only 5 she said that I most likely already miscarried and the hormone is just coming out of my systom. I am not sure what is going to happen next I have stopped spotting I never had any really heavy bleeding since I got the positive HPT I don't know when AF will show next I am just really confused right now as to what the next step in this horrible process is. Of course you can Shannon. I hate that you are here though! The ladies here are fantastic and will provide you the support you need. Ask anything - we have all been there.

As for when AF will show - the norm is 3-5 weeks after the HCG is out of your system. That being said you should do a follow up blood test to make sure your numbers are dropping (and HPT will work but is less helpful - since its just a line and not a number).

I hope this pregnancy kicks your body (and your DH's) into high gear and you get your BFP again soon!

Thanks for responding I did forget to mention that I am going for repeat blood work today and should have results tomorrow to make sure it is going down.

I am so sorry for you loss. I had a miscarriage about 3 weeks ago, so I understand your pain/frustration.

I do hope that your numbers drop quickly and your body will be able to start cycling again soon. KUP on your blood work and how you are doing!
