UGH. Waiting to O after m/c sucks. I am on CD 20 today post m/c (day one being the first day I started bleeding). I have had neg OPKs for almost 2 weeks now...BUT I have had EWCM on and off for over a week! It is kinda weird...I will have some EWCM mixed with creamy...then the next day EWCM by itself, then the next day mixed again. Last night I had CM which stretched 2 inches but was not really slippery. I marked it as EW but I don't even know anymore!! ANyone else experience odd CM post m/c??

The good news is that I have an increased sex drive so I think that is sign I will O soon. Too bad I was too tired last night to bd tho!

Other things to know...I am still BFing...tho only once a day (and I think we will be stopping actually) and this is only my second PP cycle....so I know my body is still trying to get back on track from that too.

It is just frustrating!!

Katie, I can symphathise!! I don't want to scare you, but I didn't O until CD 33. Then AF came early? on CD 44. I don' t know if I took longer to O because of the D&C I had or my body just took a little longer or what. Regardless, waiting to get to your "new normal" is a big pain in the butt and it's not fun. At least you have your sex drive!

As for CM - mine was mostly dry-creamy, i think. To be honest, I don't really remember. I am not great at tracking CM as I would like. I think I know when I finally did O, but that was from my temps and maybe an OPK. My CM was not consistant.

I realize i'm not giving lots of positive experience. But I jsut wanted to let you know you are not alone!!

That must be so frusterating. I have just about stopped bleeding from my m/c, so I have no idea when I will O....

As for the OPK's... I personally have NO faith in them. When we were TTC my DD, I took 2 OPK's a day for 2 weeks, and I never once got a positive. Well, I obviously O'ed, since I got pg with her that month. I would definitely go more by CM....

HUGS.... I am so sorry you are going through this... I have to say after my last m/c.. they brought me in for Blood work on cd3 and than a u/s.... welll on that u/s.. I had NO mauture follies.. meaning I would not release an egg... (I was told this is not uncommon after a m/c) But I did get a + OPK.... so you can get a surge.. and release no egg.... The few cycles after a M/C you can be a little screwy.. I wish someone had told me this.. since I did everything right after my m/c... and still no BFP... HUGS! I hope your body jumps starts.. and you O, and get your BFP!

that does sound frustrating i am still spotting a bit after my m/c and am not looking forward to trying to figure out how my body is going to react after all this is over.

sometimes you can totally miss your surge. it can happen in the middle of the night and the sticks never pick it up. go by EWCM and sex drive! do you temp at all? i am thinking about starting that to see what my body is up to. it is a pretty good indicator of whether or not you O every month.

Thanks for the replies ladies. So far the OPK's have worked well for me (I use them twice a day) BUT I know that there is the possibility I could miss it. Usually I get EWCM and then a POS OPK not too long after but this CM has been crazy. I will continue to monitor and see...

I do not temp because my 14 month old sleeps with me and tho she sleeps through the night she wakes me up all the time when she moves so I do not think they will be very reliable. Anyone have experience with this?

And I am sorry again for your loss...I do hope the spotting stops asap so you can get on with things!!
