my ob hasnt scheduled any blood work for me at all. she said at my u/s that everything was good to go and to wait 2 cycles just to make sure i could date another pregnancy.

how long will it take for the hcg to get out of my system completely? when i was told my bad news my levels were 14,000 (at 8 weeks). that was 2 weeks ago.

i just poas and it was still positive - pretty darn positive actually. just wondering what everyone else's experiences have been?

thank you all so much for your kind words - they made me tear up (yet more proof that all hormones are not gone LOL).

Its hard to say how quickly your numbers will drop. Usually the doctors take them once a week to make sure they are dropping or every few days. Hugs! I pray your levels drop quickly and you get a BFP soon.

Mine dropped after 3 weeks but have gone back up. I have to get more blood work done tomorrow though. I had a partial molar pregnancy though so mine could be a totally diff. situation than yours

i am really wondering why they havent scheduled me for blood tests to monitor my levels. that seems the prudent thing to do - no?

she didnt even mention coming back. she said she hopes the next time she sees me it is b/c i am pregnant...

maybe i should go to my gen. pract. and see if she will order some tests for me.

Some OB's follow the levels down and others do not. Mine did not mention it to me, so when I talked to the nurse, I asked about it and they had me come in once a week until they were close to 0. I didn't see the dr. - just blood draw each time. Typically they should fall in the reverse order of rising, so half every 48 - 72 hours or so.

Yea... unfortantly everyone is different... The highest my last pregnancy got was 93... Yes 93.... it took over 4 weeks.. for my levels to drop below 10...... I never had a d/c with the one... so that was my body trying to do it naturaly... SInce you had a d/c.. hopefully it will drop quicker... Did you dr tell you to call if , af didn;t show in a set amount of time? I also took a HPT the day they drew my blood so I know what my levels were... so I could see if the line was getting lighter.... HUGS.. I hope your levels drop quickly.. so you can get back to the TTC!!!

i didnt have a d and c. when i went to the ob she just gave me an U/S and told me everything had passed and my lining was thinning out the way it should.

My dr. told me on Jan 19th that I didn't have to come back til Oct when it is time for my pap. I talked to other ppl that had a molar pregnancy and I got worried about my hcg level even though dr. said it was neg. POAS and it was positive. Now my hcg is back up. If you are worried about it call your dr. office back and just ask about getting it checked weekly. I may have to go weekly for a few months and then once a month for a year. My dr. also cleared me TTC after 1 cycle!
