He thinks that not enough hormones are reaching my ovaries to stimulate ovulation. That's his theory until the blood work results come in. He did refer me to a gyn. He's checking for LH, HCG, and a couple others I can't remember. I'm going to set up the GYN appointment when I get a list of who is covered in our insurance.
The lady who drew my blood and I started chatting and I mentioned my wacky cycles. She told me about hers. Apparently blood and urine tests all came back negative until she was just over 2 months pregnant. Apparently it's possible for blood tests even to be a false negative. I had no idea.
The blood work results should be in tomorrow or the next day. I'll update this post when I know.
Update:
The doc just called with bloodwork results. He said "All hormone levels appear normal. You are not pregnant. I don't know why you're not getting your period." I am contacting the first OB/GYN I saw when I was pregnant tomorrow. I'll update again after the appointment with him.

Good Luck tomorrow with the results. Schedule your appointment as soon as you find out what doctors you can see with your ins. Check with more than one b/c you might be able to get an appt. quicker that way. If they can't get you in right away you can always call daily to see if they have any cancellations!

Thanks.. It took 2 weeks last time to get seen by the OB. Hopefully it happens faster this time.

Maybe since you have already had appts with them it won't take as long.

Actually I'm a bit on the relieved side. I'm just happy my hormones are normal.
I'm scheduling that appt with the gyn today.
