I have never dealt with it, but I hope you find someone who has. My BF had one when she was 21, but she wasn't trying and was OK with NTTC for a year.

From what I have read, the baby gets 3 sets of chromosomes - usually two from the father (with 2 sperm fertilizing the egg) and one from the mother. It is fairly rare and having one doesn't make you more likely to have another.

Yeah my little boy had XXY. Usually the wait is 3mo- 1 year. I just don't know if I can wait that long. When I graduated hs in 2002 I started working at a daycare and they had this scrapbook for a baby that you could buy. This company would be books and stuff to sell and had that scrapbook. I thought that is soo cute and bought it for when I got preg. and stuff. knowing that I wasn't really going to try any time soon. I have been with my DH for 8 1/2 years (married for 3 1/2 of them). Ended up my sister got pg before me so I gave it to her. I kept that for 5 years. She didn't have the shower til after he was born. He is 3 /12. Funny story sort of. She was supposed to be my maid of honor. She was always told she couldn't have kids (would go a year w/o a period sometimes). Anyways one day she told me she was pg and that was a shock enough as it was and then to top it off her dd was my wedding day. I didn't believe her. They ended up changing her dd a few times after that but she ended up having him 10 days before my wedding so he was at my wedding.

Anyways. I have wanted a baby for so long. I worked at one daycare for 2 years another one for 1 1/2 years and then the last two summers. I have my bachelors degree in Education (trying to find a teaching job and would really love to teach K) Have worked as aide the last two years. It just stinks. I wasn't really trying when I did get pg but now that I was pg. and lost the baby. I want a baby even more! We weren't really trying but we weren't preventing b/c I had been off bc for 4 1/2 years and we didn't use condoms. Always pulled out when it was the middle of my cycle. Just figured if we got pg we got pg and if not then that was fine. When I did get pg. we DTD that night and he didn't pull out. I was like uh oh and ran to look at the calendar and it was day 13. so day 14 we ended up dtd on purpose that night. Not sure how I started talked about this but anyways. My mind is all over the place.
