i am experiencing EWCM. i stopped bleeding about 3 days ago. i took an hpt and it is still slightly positive.
is EWCM typical after miscarriage or is it possible i am gearing up to O? with a positive hpt i am assuming O is impossible, maybe my body is just going thru the motions this first time?
any thoughts?

I was told by some ladies on another board that it is possible to O before your hcg level actually reaches negative. I had a partial molar pregnancy and so did another girl. She got preg. again before her hcg reached negative.

For me b/c I had a partial molar pregnancy it really wouldn't be good b/c they almost wouldn't be able to tell if it is a new pregnancy or tissue growing back from my m/c. Basically they would just have to watch to make sure your hcg would double the way a normal preg. does. I was told my hcg reached neg. and then three weeks later had a positive on a hpt. I went in and my hcg was 434 so they checked two days later to see if it would double. It was 300 something that day. Nurse said they are treating it as an increase from my m/c.

I am not sure with a molar/partial molar... I was told by my Dr... you will not ovulate until your levels are zero... While we have all heard the stories.. that people do get pregnant.. I am not sure their levles didn't drop to zero.. than they ovulated... But you never know....

I wasn't really scheduled for any bw either. It just so happened I went in on 1/5 for cramping they checked it. I don't know if they would have checked it on 1/19 when I went to get my results from my m/c. Even after finding out I had a pmp dr. still didn't schedule me for bw. They are now b/c I took that hpt. If I didn't take I would have never known my hcg was back up. I wish there was one answer for everything. It would make things so much easier on all of us.

I had tons of EWCM during my last days of bleeding. I was really shocked by it all. I've never had that much even when I'm ovulating!
I assumed it was an aftereffect of the miscarriage, rather than a real fertility sign. I really have no idea though.

I thought it was impossible to O until your hcg levels went back down, but I'm new to this and am learning all kinds of new things here.

I have had tons of CM since I had my M/C 4 weeks ago and I still haven't Od.... so it may just be your body trying to get back to normal..

My doctor said until your HCG levels are under 5 it is not possible to O. So I'm not sure. Alot of people have different things after a m/c. Hugs!

I started having EWCM 5 days after the bleeding stopped (my hcg was 1 or below) from mine but didn't O for 10 more days...
I'm guessing its all the crazy hormones. If the preg test was pos you shouldn't O yet tho...
Confusing, huh???? And annoying!!
