: I don’t know where to begin. Saw the dr. this morning. Now he doesn’t seem to think I was ever neg. on 1/5. He said they can’t find it in my chart. Said it could have been someone elses and was placed in my chart by accident. NICE HUH!!! Not to mention when he saw me on 1/19 he said I didn’t need to come back til Oct. unless I got pg before then! Guess it is a good thing I poas at home and it was positive or I would have never known. Told me today that he didn’t think my numbers are going down fast enough. Said he expects them to be zero since it has been 7 weeks. I don’t know about that but whatever. Said he wanted to do Methotrexate injection and wanted me to get a chest x-ray today. Also, said he wanted to give me the bc shot whatever it is called deprovera or something because he didn’t want me to get pg for 3 months. I don’t want to the shot so I told him that. I had so many problems with bc before that I am too nervous to get the shot b/c once you get it it is in your system. So he said something about bc pills. Again, I don’t know he gave me samples for 3 months but said I need to either use the pill or condoms. He said that the pill would help to regulate me since I haven’t really had a normal period yet. Not sure if this counts as a period what I am doing now since I have been bleeding/spotting the whole time for 7 weeks now except for 3 days. What would you ladies do? I am stumped on this one. I thought about taking bc for 1 or 2 months and then just use condoms. I hate condoms though! Left the office and went to the hospital to get my x-ray. I am hoping to have that result either today or tomorrow but who knows. Got my prescription filled for the injection and went back to dr office so I could get it. Is 50mg a lot? That is what the bottle said. Now I am home. I am tired and feel like crap emotional wise. Don’t really know what to think about today. I go back next Thurs. now for bw so that means it will be more than 1 week in between my results.

Oh Hunny HUGS!!!! Ok.... So when did he tell you start the pill... Today or when you stop bleeding??

I have heard of the shot... but why the Chest X-ray?? I don't I have ever heard of a lady saying they had to get a chest X-ray... (Now I am courious.) Does it have somthing to with the shot??

As for the pills.. If you don't have any reaction I would stay on them.. I have heard you are more fertile.. coming off the pill so this way.. you are on them.. come off and get your BFP!! I know, I know.. wishful thinking!!! But someone has to do it!!!!

But that is what would do.. since it was a partial molar pregnancy.. I have heard of ladies having to wait much longer than 3 months... Not that you want to wait.. and I understand that.. HUGS!!!

The only thing I can think that they are doing the chest x-ray is to make sure nothing has spread. I could be totally wrong though and didn't think to ask when I was there. I think I just sat there in shock. As far as the pill he didn't specify. He said it would help regulate my period. I haven't really stopped bleeding/spotting though since I was induced. Guess I will ask tomorrow when I get the results from my x-ray. I thought about just taking the pill for a month or two. Not really sure yet.

I had a friend that had a full molar pregnancy and she had to have chest x-rays for a year. She said it had to do with the moles - they could break free and lodge in your chest - I think.

As far as Depo Prevara - it is a personal choice, but I would not do it. I used depo as my form of bc for years prior to ttc. I had no problems on it, other than no period but coming off was a bia%^&. I went through 2 months where it was constant PMS/Pregnancy symptoms. I am a very lucky user of the depo - my period returned quickly - 7 months after my last injection. The average is 10-12 months. If you google it, you will find that a lot women, regardless of how many injections had issues ttc for many months afterwards. I think I read somewhere average time to concieve after injection is 18 months.

So - did you ask your dr. why he gave you the all clear on a partial molar?!?! It almost sounds like he had the wrong chart last time you saw him or he doesn't know anything about treating a partial molar.

I understand your frustration with the waiting - I have been waiting for AF for 5 months and am so over and done with it.

I think the main reason they make you do b/c is because they want to make sure your numbers definitely hit zero.. i know when I had my suspected possible eptopic they told me i had to wait 3 months or until my numbers hit zero. It took a good month a half after the methotrexate injections for my numbers to go down but they were alot higher then yours.... It is still not something you want to hear but hopefully your numbers go down quickly for you. The choice is ultimately yours..

zkat- yeah I am def. not doing the depo. He also told me that it would take longer to ttc afterwards. If I had to guess I would say they had the wrong lab work in my chart. He thought I was neg. so gave us the all clear. Right now he is saying 3 months. Not sure if it is 3 months from today or once I hit neg.

Nurse called and said my chest x-rays are just fine. Dr. was checking to see if any bad cells spread and said that would be the first place they would spread. So does that still mean I have bad cells in my uterus? Confusing!!! Just want this nightmare to be over. I am also STILL spotting!

I took another hpt today and it was positive. Lighter than what it was on 1/25. Wish I would have taken one sooner than today b/c I know my number has gone down from other blood tests. Just hoping that my number will be neg. on Wed. since I had that injection but i doubt it will be. I have heard that once you number hits below 100 in can take awhile and you don't have as big of drops.

Has anyone had the methotrexate injections? I have been more tired lately and feel like I might be getting sores in my mouth now. Not pos. it is from the injection or something that I ate yesterday or the day before. I feel like my cheeks have been rubbed raw. So now when I eat it burns. Just curious if anyone has had this problem with the injection.

thank you for verifying what the Chest X-ray was for.. I wish I could answer your questions... The shot was never an option for me since my Dr dosen't offer it... HUGS I hope others can answer your questions..
