Quick update - My Dr.'s office called and said my labs are back from the recurrent loss panel and hormone profiles, but the Dr. wants to see me to discuss them. I think this sounds like everything was not normal, since I usually get them from the nurse (Betas) or Mail (paps)

Worse - my schedule is a bear next week and the only days I can see her Wed. or Fri. Wed. she is in surgery all day. I all ready have a follow up scheduled with her on Tues. 2-16, so rather than pay a co-pay Fri to get my labs and a co-pay Tues. to follow up on surgery, I will just wait until the 16th. Now I will not quit obsessing about this until my appt.

It could mean that everything came back normal and your doc wants to talk about what to do next. It sucks that you have to wait so long to get in to see her but the 16th will be here before you know it!

I wouldn't be able to NOT obsess over it. Is there any way she can have a conference with you over the phone? I know it's not customary, but considering her & your schedule it's nearly impossible for you two to meet when she wants you to.

Kat I'm sorry to hear that it's scaring you a little, man I would be too. Hope that time passes quickly and you can see her sooner than later to discuss the bloodwork results.

Michelle - that may be the case, but most likely not. I have only had 1 loss and it only took me 2 mths to get pregnant. The panel was ordered because I have 2 autoimmune diseases (Celiac and Hashimoto) and my endo wanted them done.

Celena - I keep telliing myself - Maybe it is just my hormone levels were wacky and they autoimmune panel is fine. I keep telling myself the worst thing she can tell me is that I have an autoimmune clotting disorder and it can be managed with pregnancy. I think my fear is that is will scare DH so much, he will say forget it.

Luckily, I have a weekend trip to Austin next weekend, so that will at least somewhat keep me occupied until then.

I'm sorry you have to wait so long! That would be really hard! It sounds like, in the least she has some answers for you, and hopefully with that knowledge they can help you and move forward. I'll be thinking about you and sending T&P that the time goes quickly!

WOW that is so long to wait!! I also would see if maybe she could discuss it over the phone?

On a side note...my BF shares both your AI diseases. She has had a loss but also has been pregnant two other times...hope these will not effect your fertility! I may have Celiac and I had to be on the diet while preggers with my daughter just in case. (I have been putting off the biopsy to confirm).

HUGS... Sorry you have to wait... But I agree with everyone else... It could be all normal.. and the next step.. But to help ease your mind.. see if the Dr could call you back... HUGS!

As far as phone discussion - she does almost everything face to face, which really is the reason why I like her so much.

Katie - The two are very common together. I am also being tested next week for Type I diabetes antibodies. Celiac can be a pain, but I have become very accustomed to the diet. I have been gluten free for 3 years now and my uncle was diagnosed 2 years ago. My mom needs to be tested, but hasn't gotten around to it yet (no insurance)
