Did it go away on it's own ?

How long did it take to go away on it's own?

Is your cyst painful? How do you relieve the pain?

I have this hemorrahgic cyst (sp) cyst filled with blood, it's painful... They didn't tell me what it would do or how it would be taken care of. It was the u/s lady who saw it and something else over there, but she said the dr's would have to talk to me about it. Well when the FNP called with my beta's I asked about it and she said if it was ok with me she wanted to wait to ask Dr. D on fri (my dr) about the u/s's the numbers, etc... instead of Dr.W. I haven't heard anything.

Just wanted to hear your experience, knowledge and what your team of dr's did to take care of you.

I actually just had a cyst removed! Mine wasn't hemorahgic though. It has been there since 2008 and wasn't really causing much pain until this past November. If the cyst is big enough, they should remove it especially if it is causing you pain. Some Tylenol should help with the pain. They might try BCP for at least 3 months, but if you're TTC then having it removed is better. My Dr. didn't give me any real after care, he just said do what you can depending on how I felt. He said I could start trying right away and could have sex 1 week after surgery. During surgery they fill you with air and they don't always get it all out so after surgery you are a farting mess.. TMI... and they say that some of the air can get in your diaphragm and there is a nerve in there attach to your shoulder which causes pain from the gas. Let me tell you, that hurts! But the best way to relieve the pain is to walk around. It helps to move the gas along.

If you have any questions.. you can PM me....

I had a cycst (I don't think it was hemorahgic) in Aug... It was very painful.. That is when I went to the ER... It had ruptured... and the fluid caused Peritonitis... The pain radiating to my back was horriable... I couldn't get comfortable.... The only thing helped was the medication they gave me in the ER...

I would call the Dr and see if they could maybe give you something stronger... HUGS!

I had a cyst but it wasn't hemorrahgic. I was in a lot of pain one day and could barely walk so I went to my dr. They gave me a shot for pain and had me do an u/s. They didn't end up doing anything else for me b/c it was small. Sometimes a dr. will give you something to dissolve it I believe. I would call your dr. tomorrow if you are still in a lot of pain. If anything they should be able to at least give you diff. medication.

My aunt just had one burst. She went to the ER because of the pain and the blood. Thankfully once it ruptures the worst is over. It's just really scary.
