Well, I got my first BFP on Friday. Since then I've kept retesting in the morning... and the only tests I have left are the babyhopes, internet cheapies. I don't know if these tests suck or if I'm just having another chemical pregnancy.
The lines are still there, though not as dark as I'd think being that its a few days later.
I've read that 70% of all preg. are chemical. Does it really happen that often?
I'm super frustrated and worried that there is something wrong with me.
I'll keep testing, and maybe go to the store and buy an expensive test and use those. My temp is still up, but I'm "suppose" to start tomorrow...

awwww try not to worry! dye in tests differ SO much - even using the same tests in the same package!
i know how nervous you are, especially having already gone thru a CP, but try to keep calm! testing really doesnt tell you the amount of hcg.... just that it is there!
IMO - put the sticks down and enjoy being pregnant. if things dont turn out for the best, we will be here for you, but i REFUSE to think that yet! there is no reason in the world to think it right now. it is hard but we have to remember that pee sticks are not diagnostic
huge hugs, please keep us posted!! i am thinking ad praying for you and your bean!!

I agree. Put down the sticks and be happy your pg. If you are really nervous I would just call your doc. It is simple for them to do a blood test to test your hcg . . . but you're early and if you have no other symptoms I wouldn't worry. Congrats!!!

If you're worried, call you dr. Get them to do a couple of betas to make sure you're #'s are going up. As long as you have symptoms and not bleeding you're fine. But I would do the bloodwork just to ease your mind. And like my family told me, don't worry so much! I'm a worry wart. But, I had a reason to worry 'cuz I was bleeding and passing clots, and I knew the bean was gone, but they didn't want to believe me. GL hun and KUP!

Melly - I know exactly what you are going through. I am there too. I am about a week ahead of you and still testing... just to make sure. I know I have to stop and have told myself that today is the last test day for me. Like Colleen said each test is so different that you shouldn't compare brand to brand or even test to test.
As someone who has suffered multiple miscarriages all I can say is try and enjoy all the time you have with this pregnancy. If it's going to end it's going to end no matter how many times you test and how much you worry. So you might as well enjoy the time you have and of course, HOPE that you have 9 more months with this one. Good luck!

I tested for a week after my BFP, and the lines were never really really dark. I too was worried, but here I am at 9 weeks with raging morning sickness So I guess I am saying the lines don't mean much to me anymore. If you want to retest, try the FRERs but I would say step away from the sticks They will just bring you worries. Good luck!!

I think you are going to drive yourself mad with the pee sticks but i know if i got pregnant again i would be exactly the same. I would just try to relax as much as possible and only worry if you get any m/c symptoms. If you are worried about anything go to your doctor, but lines are misleading.

I know it's hard not to test. I was still testing for weeks after my first BFP. Having gone through 2 chemical pregnancies, I was so worried about the lines going lighter. And funny thing is on the second day of my testing the line did get lighter and I totally freaked out, but then the lines got darker again.
I hope you get to stay in the Oct. DDC!!! Sending you tons of sticky dust!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ive used the babyhopes pregnancy tests,,,,,,they are 20miu, not as sensitive as the other internet tests. I remember taking these too, the same time I was testing with FRERS, and it took almost a full week and a half of beeing pregnant to get a decent line on those tests....While the FRER'S got noticeablly darker every day!
Try not to worry, I know its hard. Im praying for you!

I agree with the other ladies.... The IC is very hard to see the lines get darker... especially after they dry.. trying to see the progression is sooo hard. I have been using the FRER and Answers... and I think the Answers are darker than the FRER. I would call my Dr and ask for blood work!! HUGS!

to what all the other ladies said! I'd call your OB to get a beta and then check it again in a few days. That's much more reliable than the HPT's. I'm praying you have a sticky bean there!
