I just had a miscarriage last week. Im still spotting a dark brownish color and its only when I wipe. My last period should have been around Jan 14th but we got our BFP on Jan 17th. Is it possible to be O'ing already so soon after a miscarriage? All day today I have been cramping just on the right side which is what I normally did around the time I O. Just seems a lil odd right after a miscarriage or do you think its just cramping from the miscarriage. I guess its a good sign if I can ovulate so quick but with still spotting and the miscarriage just last week Im in no mood just yet to BD!

i would get an opk and see if you are having your surge. also i would get an hpt and see if it is completely negative. if you are still spotting it would seem that you may not be down to zero quite yet.... but i dont know if this is medically true.

i stopped spotting and it took 10 days after that to get a clean hpt. that was with a loss of 8+4.

BUT you sure do hear of people getting preggo right after a mc!! so maybe your body really is totally on track already! dont blame you for not being ready to bd yet tho. not while your still spotting.

hope you find out what is going on! and i hope this is your body telling you all systems are go!

Hey Becca,
We were in the same September DDC. Im so sorry to you and loved ones. We too have suffered the loss. Last Wednesday, and I too had the same 'ovulation' pains first on the left and then on the right. I don't know if it is ovulation but at least with the 2 of us feeling the same things, its probably pretty normal.
Can I ask if you are planning to try right away?
Tobi

Hi Tobi - Im so sorry to hear about your loss. I was told by my OB to wait 3 months... However we are thinking of just waiting for the one cycle and then trying. With my age(35 - 36 in Nov) I cant waste too much time! DH even says we are just going to let nature take it course. It may take 3 months for my body to readjust and get back to normal but if not I think we are just going to go for it after the one cycle.

Yeah I hear ya on that one! Ill be 39 on the 24th of Feb. Its not like I have all this time on my side. We too are going to try after my next regular period. My Dr told us that it would be fine to try then. Its funny how Drs all have a different opinion! Ive read that the reason for the 3 months is not for physical healing but more for emotional healing.... do they really think the hurt goes away? Anyway, we know what we want and we are going after it, and it sounds as though you are the same! I wish you luck!
