I've been wanting to do this for a long time now. First I didn't know what to get, then I didn't know where to get it. Then I was putting it off because we were TTC. I finally said "screw it" and did it! It was painful but I'm glad that I did it now. Our angel will always be with me.
BTW - I don't recommend getting a tattoo on your ribs. It really, really, really hurt!

When did you get it done? It looks to be healing really good! That is a very sensitive spot... I bet it still hurts... But it is so beuatiful! They did a GREAT job!!! How long did it take??

It's gorgeous.
I got a tattoo the day after my D&C. It's in my siggie. The hearts represent my 3 boys we have and the star is who we lost.

I got it done yesterday. It took just under an hour to finish.

It looks really good. i am too scared to get a tattoo. My luck I would pass out on them. I have a history of fainting.

Kim I love it! I think it's perfect and it's simple yet so complex.... do you think it was more painful because of what it represents making it more physically painful? Weird how sometimes our bodies respond.

I think it was painful because it's in a very sensitive spot. Somehow the pain of a tattoo can be very healing emotionally. I knew that it would hurt a lot but I figured that it couldn't hurt worse than having a m/c. At least with a tattoo the pain is over fairly quickly.
