I heard that, too. I don't bleed when I brush my teeth, but I'm still over due for a visit. :/ I hate the dentist...

When I read this... I got on the phone and called right away!!!! I knew it could infections with the heart.... (Isn't it funny that I could put it off for me... but if it could hurt my baby.. or future pregnancies... I got right on the phone!)

Oddly enough, my m/c was preceeded by horrible jaw/gum pain. Not the teeth itself, but almost like the nerve under the teeth. They were really sore on one side where I couldn't bite down. I had JUST had a cleaning and checkup the day before I conceived and had a filling done (other side) that I don't think is related, but just weird my pg was strong until the jaw pain started - then m/c out of the blue with no warning. Stranger enough, the pain stopped once the bleeding did... haven't been bac to the dentist as I didn't think they were related. Hmmmm...
