This has happened for the last 2 cycles--never happened prior to having pregnancy loss. It's not ovulation pain--I experience that regularly and this begins a few days after ovulation and then continues off and on until menses. It's mostly on the left, but also on the right. Any ideas?

After my m/c at 12 weeks my uterus was so sore during O and days after. I've never had anything so painful in my life. I think it was for a cuple of cycles after my m/c. Not sure what it was, but it did eventually go away.
You could also have a cyst. I would check with your dr.
Hope you feel better soon!

After my d/e last Jan.... I was in pain every cycle.. about 20 days out of a 30 day cycle.... That lasted about 5 months... I even mentioned it to my Doc.. and he said some women experiance some pain as your body gets back to normal. It got less and less painfull each cycle... until I only had pain around ovulation. I hope you get some answers from your Dr... But I know I was worried to be in pain. HUGS.. I am so sorry you have to go through this ontop of what you had to go through.

Yes, they want me to come in. After I described the problem, they said it would be good to come in and that it could possibly be a cyst on the ovary. I never even thought of that, but since they mentioned it I thought about the fact that I don't think I O'd this cycle and I usually O like clockwork. A cyst could cause me not to O. I know cysts are usually harmless, but when ttc need to be taken care of sooner than later.

Middleschmerz pain... it can happen from whichever ovary you're ovulating from or even just in the "middle" during ovulation. I'll get you an article... I read about this too!

Celena, it's not mittelschmerz. I experience mittelschmerz regularly. The pain I'm referring to happens *after* ovulation.

I have the same thing happen every month (it has been 10 months now). They really have no idea what is causing the pain. I have had an u/s and bloodwork and they all came back normal. It is quite frustrating!!

I hope they find out what the cause is for you.
