Today has been a very good day (food mentioned)

So today it felt like a normal day - getting up early - getting ready for work. The fact is that I turned 37 today and I was working. I had the choice of not going to work today but my husband to my surprise told me that he thought it was better for me to work so it would be easier to meet for dinner after.
He surprised me big time today. He had sent me a package nicely wrapped. Inside was 6 beautifully chocolate dipped fresh (big) strawberries. Instead of flowers he sent me these and I love strawberries. I guess the only thing that was missing was the champagne (but I do not drink alcohol - but that would have been awsome, just a little glass).
We then after work went to Morton's steakhouse - yummy food. If we had choosen we could have gotten huge steaks and lobster tails (get this the display tray had a live lobster on it - claws tied up of course).
We had a salad each - butterfly shrimp (really large), crabcake, each we had a filet, idaho baked potato and grilled asparagus - ended with a cup of espresso and cappuccino plus two desserts - keylime pie and upside down apple pie.

I am still stuffed and feeling wonderfully celebrated.
My mom and neices called sang and my youngest neice played the happy birthday song on the piano.

The strawberries were a surprise - the resturant was not a surprise as I had picked it out. But yet a surprise on the food really good. I am really

with my DH. He is such a romantic when he wants to be.

Awww Happy Belated Birthday Lovisa! Sounds like you had a wonderful bday. I just noticed your in Bristow...Bristow by Gainesville?? If so we are neighbors. Im down the road in Warrenton/Bealeton.

We have learned over the years what we can do for each other that makes us love each other even more. A relationship is never ending as long as you nourish it with "food". I am still learning and we have been married for 12 years this year (June 27th 2010).
He is the most thoughtful man that I have ever met that I am still with (had previous relationships before this one that did not last very long but those guys were trying but I was not able to receive back then). He is my prince charming if there ever was such a term. I had spoken him into existence when I was about 14 years old. I met him when I was 21. We got married when I was 25. I hope you do not mind that I shared this with you. I feel very secure here and therefore I am sharing. I am not an angel by any means and I have broken his heart many times and had to work at earning his trust over and over again. Now our marriage is better not just beacause we work at it but with the associations with others that help us stretch ourselves and become better people.
He is the one for me for the rest of my life - that's it case closed.
