O/T My sister- needs thoughts

My sister who is young, like 14 and pretty innocent for her age, called me last night to tell me this weekend that she had been raped.

( I am so sad. It's like someone took her innocense from her. The guy who did it was like 18-19 years old. My parents didn't know until yesterday cuz she went in and told the school counselor. It apparently happened Fri when she went to spend night at a friends house and her friend wanted to go hang out with some people. She said she was drinking a Poweraid and after awhile it started to taste funny then she started getting dizzy and her "friend" watched the guy do this to her and didn't try to stop. The school called the cops and now they are looking for this guy. She lives 6 hours away and I just wish I could give her a hug. I hope they find him. School said this isn't the first complaint this year about a guy with same discription and vehicle. Alls my sister knows is a first name, and my sisters "friend" knows who he is and isn't talking. Ughhh

If you could keep her in your thoughts.... this is going to be a hard recovery for her.

How horrible for her and your family. Im so sorry this has happened. I pray he is caught and punished for his crime!

oh my gosh, that's terrible! I'm so glad that she told you, your parents, and the school and that the police are involved. I hope she can get some counseling so she can get past this.

She's definitely in my thoughts and prayers.

That is really horrible. I hope at the very least, they find the guy and are able to charge him. I will keep your sister in my thoughts. I hope she is able to start working through the experience and eventually find some peace.

Me too, and to make it worse all her "friends" have turned on her and have started to spread horrible rumors about her, so even just going to school is a challenge.

I'm so sorry! I hope your sister is no longer friends with that one who's not talking and didn't help. I was raped at 16 by my date and I didn't tell anyone what happened until my parents got a phone call from a concerned teacher who heard the stuff the guy was saying to his friends about me. So kudos to her for coming forward so quickly and I hope she gets the justice she deserves!
