and of COURSE it's BFN... der, I'm only 6dpo. My rational thinking told myself that maybe I was off on the O date by a day or two and perhaps I was like 7-9dpo and MIGHT get a little hint or something. No. Nothing. Not even a courtesy evap (thanks Answer!)  I just peed away $5. And I even did it with afternoon coffee drinking all day pee. Total setup for a disappointment. Now I have no tests so I can chill for a few more days. Yep.

I know how you feel. I'm 8dpo and am seriously thinking of going and getting some tests today. Been planning to test on the 1st when I'll be 11dpo, but I know if I get them today i will test today, in my mind that's why they make a 3 pack, lol! Let's see if I can resist.

ugh! i always get the urge to poas around day 5 or 6 which is sooooo silly! i too waste many a test cause i just cant wait!

I'm sorry you got a BFN! But I know how you feel. I'm sure I'll test at 6DPO too and I'm sure I'll get a BFN. You should consider some cheapies so you're not wasting too much money. That's what I do. If I get a hint of a line on a cheapie then I up the ante to a FRER or something.

That's why I try not to test early but I have never been able to actually wait till after AF... wasted so many tests too! Fertilityfriend recommended that I wait till 18 DPO before testing... I do not think I can wait that long...
I hope you get your BFP in several days and go to November DDC!! I want to be there too!!

Know how you feel.. I always say I am not going to test until after AF is late and I always wind up caving in and testing.. Today I am 9 DPO, and I probably could get a faintest of faint lines if I had a Answer or FRER but no I have IC's and so that is what I decided to pee on and even if there is something catching my eye I am counting it as neg cause I have seen to many evaps on these things.. I will be possible testing again at 12 dpo 0r 13 dpo..

Ugh, that darn early POAS urge! I can never control myself either, especially when I have a pile of ICs sitting in the drawer
Whenever I POAS that early and get a BFN, it's totally expected, and I have no disappointment. It kind of just calms my nerves a little. Good luck holding out until your next test. I can't wait to see the BFP!

I know how you feel. I POAS using a dollar store cheapie. I got nothing as well. I still have to wait another week before I can test.

LOL - oh good! Nice to know many share in my early peeing problem. Haha. Yeah, I didn't expect it really to show anything, but by some MIRACLE I might see something to hold me over. Oh well! When I was all gung-ho TTC our second, I went nuts with the dollar stores and IC's but they played so many mind games with the faint lines, the disappering postives, the evaps, I decided they were more hell to deal with than getting poor. Since Answer tests are fairly inexpensive and I'm not that bad as I was, I can get by on a two or three pack in these last days. I only trust Answer now, and will use FRE if that's all a store has (my local Ralphs is a lot closer than Walmart and my Target doesn't carry Answer - lame) so I'd rather just wait. I'm going to try again on Sunday with FMU when I will be a guestimated 9dpo or so. It picked it up then earlier this month so maybe I'll get lucky.
Have to admit, not really "feeling" it this time, but I've been surprised before.
