I was just curious if any of you got sicker easier when you were pregnant.. I remember with my son I did..I was sick alot it seemed.. I just got sick the other day and it hit me like a ton of bricks...LOL

That's an interesting question. What kind of sick? Cold type thing? I'm just having really bad allergies right now. Worse than I've had in a year. My right eye almost swells shut and it's getting really blood shot. I don't know how being pregnant can affect colds. I'm curious now too.. I'll be watching this for responses.

Yeah I mean cold wise.. Like if you normally wouldn't be as bad but when your sick and pregnant it hits you worse and it seems like you catch every little bug that goes around. I guess that is what I mean..

The reason I ask is one of my friends who found out she was pregnant a wk and a half ago she got real sick like a day after she found out with a cold and it sucked all her energy out and unfortunately she lost the baby, but i was just curious if anyone else had this.. i remember it with my son....

Every time I got pg I would catch everything. So usually the first few months I would have one cold after another. So yes, when I am pregnant my immune system is basically non-existent. I hope this is a good sign for you and you'll have a nice BFP in a few days!!!! Good luck!!!

I wasent sick any but I have heard that some do get colds/sore throats and all in early pregnancies.

with both of my girls I had a cold around 8 weeks that hit me like a ton of bricks. Then with #1 I had a cold in both the second and third trimester that hit me harder than non pregnant colds but not as hard as the first trimester.

with #2 I only got sick that one time

If I got sick when I was pregnant with my 3 sons my symptoms always seemed worse than if I wasn't pregnant. Like if I got a cold it seems a really bad cold vs. just a cold.

i am the total opposite. i am more apt to get sick when not pregnant. both times i have been pregnant (although this time wasnt very long) i was super healthy! i chalked it up to all the prenatals i was taking

See I started getting sick Wednesday and it hit me hard.. I feel like I have no energy to do anything.. I don't even want to cook, and chasing after my son is hard, and then I am very irritable... I am not lovey as my DH says... I still got a BFN on my internet cheapie but like I said in my other p ost I don't get pos until about 14 dPO..
