Will you hide your TTCAL from family, friends & people in general?

We haven't told people in general, especially since we've had more than one loss because even after the first over the summer I HATED the comments people made. It just made me angry and felt like they didn't need to be privy to such information if they aren't supportive. Also didn't want to hear the questions of "wouldn't I be worried it would happen again?" OF COURSE! Ya know?

My 2 BFF's do know and that's it. They're supportive and while we're TTC would ask where I'm at in my cycle, etc to make convo but they are always supportive.

It's not really a question of us hiding it, everyone automatically knows that we're trying again. We never had an intention to wait, and our families all caught us off guard with that question right after our loss.

Sometimes I wish we could hide it. Like when I got the following questions (from close relatives):
"No baby yet, huh?" Thanks for pointing that out.
"You're not pregnant yet?" Thanks for pointing that out, too.

And now that my sister has some impulse control issues after her strokes and doesn't really get the concept of privacy anymore, she has asked me in rooms full of people, "Do you have a baby in there, yet?" and "Are you preggers now?" Kind of awkward.

But I also have a close friend that I can talk to totally openly about TTC, and that is really nice. So it goes both ways, I guess.

I'm not trying to hide it either, but also not openly talking about it. Everybody knows that DH and I really want a baby, we've been trying for 3 years, but I'm not comfortable talking to others about TTC, especially after my loss I feel like people in general don't understand the emotions behind it.

No one knows, mostlly because I cant take the "are you pregnant yet?" questions. When it happens we dont want to even tell anyone but family for the first trimester

The only ones who know is my close family... everyone else keeps asking "when are you going to have a baby" and my response that shuts them up "In God's time"

Everyone knows we are TTC but I've forbid anyone to ask the "are you pregnant yet" question to me. This is the first time people are aware we are TTC. They know better than to ask me how it's going.

As for telling people about the loss. It depends on the person and the situation. More often than not I don't mention it. I know it happened. I don't need to tell people to remind myself about it.

Family knows we're TTC, they just won't know when we are pregnant till the 2nd tri. If I can hide it for that long.

My parents know, DH's parents know and so do our siblings. I've also told a few close friends, but i'm starting to tell more people now.
