I am still trying to decide if I should use BCP for my cyst. Has anyone been on them for a cyst? Did it get rid of your cyst?

My Dr also suggested the nuva ring but after researching this I dont think I want that at all. I think reg BCP would be safer.

I did it for about 2 months after my first loss in Nov '08. All it did was shrink the cyst a tiny bit and after I stopped BCP it started to grow again. I believe it depends on what kind of cyst you have if it will work or not. Be careful with BCP's though, some of them can really screw up your cycle cause your body is adjusting to the hormones. I hate pills, but loved being on the patch. I would never do Nuvaring, doesn't sound appealing to me at all.

My Dr said BCP would regulate my cycles and cause me to become pg faster. Is this not the case? God I dont want to screw up my cycles because I am already having issues due to the cyst with my cycles.
