Okay. Let's all not get excited but let's all hope. I'm sure I'm not but how great would it be if I were

Here are the details:

D&C Feb 5th (25 days ago)
Unprotected sex day 5 & day 12 after procedure
Pinkish color on toilet paper when I wiped a few times. (TMI. Sorry)
Feb. 22nd ( 8 days ago) blood work came back fine. OB said my hcg level was 150
Last few days..super sore boobs. Nipples are killing me to touch.
Loose poops every morning, exactly the same as my last pregnancy.

I'm not really sure where I am in my cycle. But if we count the D&C as CD1, then we had sex on CD5 & CD12. I normally ovulate around CD14 (but this hasn't been a normal past month for me with regards to the D&C).
AF would be due CD28. Which is this Thursday. So it's very early in the 'testing' game.

I decided to test this afternoon, so it's not FMU. The second line came up. It's definitely there, having a hard time getting a good photo of it.

My concern is that it could be leftover pregnancy hormones making the test "positive". Which is very likely.

I think I'm just going to wait and see if AF shows and then take another test at the weekend and see if it's lighter or darker.

Here are photos. It's difficult to see but it's there. I drew two little dots at the point where the second line is.

HUMMmmm.... 8 days ago you had bloodwork and your levels were 150. That is still pretty high with out bleeding...... I would wait and see if AF shows.. if not... I would test again this weekend. If the line is darker... than I think you really need to call your OB!!!! Since your D/C have you tested negative at all on hpt's?? If you have I would call you ob tomorrow.. If you haven't tested I would wait.. since it is most likely left over from the d/c..... I never tested after my d/c..... AF just showed 35 days later.... So I can't give you any personal experiances... But I hope that line gets darker.. and this is indeed a new pregnancy!!!

This is the first time I've tested since my D&C. And the only reason I am testing is because my boobs are killing me and the poop reminded me of my last pregnancy.
I'm sure it's left over hormones....now we wait.

I definitely see a line. After my D&C in 8/08 I still had pregnancy hormone left until the day before AF showed, but AF showed up 22 day after my D&C and my cycles are like clockwork 28 days. I think you very possibly could be pregnant, but it could still be leftover from before...

I swore I wouldnt lurk over here since I wont be TTC again for quite sometime again now that Im single. But I believe we found out we lost our pregnancies around the same time. I had my d&c the 12th of Feb. but had known I had miscarried for a couple weeks prior. Im not sure what my beta levels are at now but I am still getting postive pregnancyy tests Isabelle. Not that I want you to give up hope I know you will get your sticky BFP im no time!! Hope this is it for you!!

GOSH that's definitely a light BFP there and clearly see-able but the really tough part is that your HCG was 150 just a little over a week ago. This could be showing a new pregnancy (as that CD12 BD would be great timing!) OR showing the decreasing HCG from your last PG.... god, this is a tough one!!

My next questions are:
-How far along were you when you m/c?
-When was your HCG tested (before or after m/c start) and what day?

My HCG plummeted from whatever it was at 4wks, 4days to just 2 in less than 24hrs allowing me to easily ovulate on time at CD16/17 myself. I'm not sure if your body will ovulate with HCG in the system as it thinks you're pregnant... I guess it all really depends on where your HCG level was around O time... do you have any info on that?

I hope that this is a new BFP for you. Like you mentioned, though, it really could be leftover hormones from your m/c. After my m/c and D&C, I was still showing light positives on HPTs for over 6 weeks. Everyone is different, though, and it seems like ovaries can do whatever the heck they want to. Fingers crossed for you!
