What do you get asked the most since your loss?

If anyone or those who do know... I'm just curious what you get asked the most and how do you handle it, what is your response? Is it the same for everyone?

Hmm, what do I get asked the most... "will you TTC again?" and then I just don't answer anymore. This was after our 1st loss this summer when DH told the fricken world I was pg, then we had a loss.

"when are you going to have a baby?" and "do you plan on tttcing again?"

People are so socially challenged... that's why the silence needs to be broken on pregnancy loss, miscarriage & stillborn's so that people could understand how fricken angry, hurt, offensive they can be without knowing it... if that makes sense?

So do you know what caused you to loose the babies???? When are you going to start trying again? Did you listen to the DR? ARe you waiting, I think you should wait longer..

Those are only a few of the many questions I have had people ask.. I wish more people knew about it..

IDK about questions people ask, but one I have heard twice that really pisses me off is "Well just be thankful for that you are able to have kids and that your kids are healthy" Well DUH I am thankful, but that doesn't make losing a child/children any less painful. It's like they think only people TTC #! should be hurt by a loss.... I don't get it.

The most frequent questions for me are:

1) Some variation of 'Are you pregnant yet?' I have taken to replying to this by saying, 'We will let you know when we're ready.' I find it very annoying that instead of people asking us how we're doing since the loss, they just ask if we're pg again, and then with a 'yet' that lets me know that they think it's taking too long.

2) Some variation of 'Are you sure the doctor didn't tell you what caused the m/c?' (from the same person at least 30 times). Ummmm yes, we're sure. And the answer is, 'Chance.' And don't you dare imply that some action of mine caused the loss.
