Hello, ladies! I just wanted to share a little about myself. I have been married for five years, and enjoy being a stay-at-home mommy, pastor's wife, and a piano teacher. My DH and I started ttc in Nov. '05, and got pregnant in March '06. We had a m/c in April at 8 weeks due to an ectopic pregnancy. I named the baby, "Joy". Fortunately, I didn't need to have surgery, and my hcg levels were very low. We were told by the dr. to wait for 3 cycles, then ttc again. We followed the dr's advice, and got pregnant with DD in Sept. '06. She is now 2 1/2, will be three this summer.

We decided to ttc again for a second child, in Sept. '09, but at 8 weeks we found out I had a blighted ovum. I decided to m/c naturally, and at 11 weeks, had the m/c. I named the baby, "Hope". We were also told by the dr. to wait for 3 normal cycles, then ttc again. So, here we are. It's now March, and we can. The thing is, I'm worried. What if I have another blighted ovum? Have any other ladies on this board had a blighted ovum, then gone on to have a healthy pregnancy? I want more children, and pray to have more. I never thought I'd have m/c's, any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks so much, for listening, and letting me tell my story!

welcome to the board! I am sorry for your losses. Naming children helps a lot too. I named mine Esme (means "loved" in French). I do not have any advice about a blighted ovum though. I am sure that there are ladies here that know something about it. I hope you get your sticky BFP soon!! GL!

I am sorry to hear about your losses.... That is cool that you are a piano teacher. I took piano back in high school.. I have a natural talent for music, but when I moved out my mom sold my piano.. I miss playing so much and I don't notice it until I get around a piano and play and realize the talent I have and how I am throwing it away, but that's beside the point.. I dont know anything about blighted ovum either.. Although you saying you had a perfect baby girl after an eptopic gives me hope.. My last miscarriage back in Aug was a suspected eptopic..HUGS hun I hope you get a quick BFP..
