After back to back losses, my DR finally put me on progesterone, BUT he doesn't want me to start until 13dpo if my 12dpo blood work is positive.


Wouldn't that be too late???

I would say yes... Everything I have read... the best outcomes are when Progesterone is started within 24-36 hours of Ovulation.... I was put on clomid... and montitored... And when I had confirmation I would ovulate my dr told me to start in in 36 hours....

I think it's all subject to the doc. Mine told me to start the progesterone 7 days after ovulation (which would be right about the time the egg would implant). So??? I think its all subject to the opinion of the doc. You could ask if it would be possible to go on it sooner rather than later and see what he says. Maybe ??? Good luck!

I think it depends on the doctor, mine has me start 3 days after O and to quit if I don't get a BFP by the time AF is suppose to show
