I wish this was Monday so that I could add it to the Monday Moans!!! DH just got a call that he is temporarily laid off now. He is a full time police officer for a small town. He started on Veteran's Day. They said he could finish out this month so who knows. It is kind of funny b/c on the news they said that this will save them the most money. I told DH yeah it would save them money b/c he has been working 50-70 hours a week so they are having to pay him a lot of overtime. Guess time will tell.


On another note, I didn't think my eye would hurt this bad. It hurts worse than when they cut out the cyst in June. Hopefully it will feel better once I can actually open my eye.

I'm so sorry that happened to your DH. Is it possible things could change before the end of the month? The economy is so bad right now, I work for a law enforcement agency for the county and they were going to lay off 23 deputy's, so our union had us vote to take a pay cut so the deputy's could keep their jobs. The pay cut is really going to hurt but at least nobody lost their jobs. I hope everything will work out for you guys. I also hope that your eye will feel better really soon!

Ugh. I'm sorry, that stinks. I am unemployed at the moment and I am "over qualified" for every position right now and it sucks. I hope your DH can find a new job soon.

Oh, Lisa, that really stinks. Fingers crossed that the situation will change before the end of the month. More stress is not what you guys need
