I know some ladies have certain months that are blocked off from having a EDD in, so this goes out to you (and EVERYONE) Some months are more optimal because of DH's travelling, holidays, work schedules, training/school, etc... So if you could plan it...
What is your hopeful month(s) to have an EDD in?

Typically June or July would be best for me but I would take any where from May to Aug. I am hoping to get a teaching job. That was before my loss. Now I just don't care b/c I could care less if I get a job or not. I just want a baby and am not going to plan around my career.

ANY month is good for me and at the moment I am kind of partial to a Nov. DD - hoping...... I would prefer to not to have Jan - as 2 nephews and BFF son all have early Jan. b-days but I would not avoid trying just so it doesn't end up that month.

If AF shows up soon I still have a chance at a Dec EDD, Dec is probably the least ideal month because 99% of my family has birthdays around the holidays. I would love for my baby to not have to share a birthday with anyone else in the family but I want a baby asap!

I am with Lisa. I always wanted May, June or July since I was hoping to get a teaching job. I really really wanted that job!! I do not care anymore. Moreover things are more complicated because of DH's career choice that will make us move somewhere (who knows where?). I am actually buying plane tickets and going home to visit my parents. I do not care about a career anymore, I just want a baby!!!
I am actually thinking of trying again as soon as m/c bleeding stops..

Before my loss, I would prefer any month other than December or July, but now I don't care, I will take any month!

I would love a baby between feb and april simply because we dont have any bdays in those months. (Amazing because we have 9 kids and the two of us...) But after 3 loses I will take a beautiful baby any month any day. Here's for hoping for a bfp soon!

If I have to have a preference, I'll say spring, since then I wouldn't have to deal with being pg in the heat of summer. But at this point, whenever, as long as I actually get a baby in the end.

I was thinking June, July, Aug. or Sept would be perfect. I work in a school, and I live in Canada so Id get a year off. It would only cause a little disruption in the school year. And I was in the Sept DDC. So now Ive just gotten AF and if I happen to manage a BFP this month that puts the baby due in Dec. which I originally thought would be a bit difficult. Difficult because my hun's bday is Dec 2, my oldest son is Dec. 10, my twin daughters are Dec. 4 (10 weeks premature! They shouldnt have arrived til mid Feb!) then Christmas to top it off!! lol Maybe Dec is just my lucky month though, so fine. Lets go for any month, even the chaotic month of December!

i like a january baby! i have one and would love another. you arent huge in the summer, and when you ARE huge you are all bundled up in heavy clothes anyway! also a newborn is nursing its little head off during flu season instead of crawling around putting everything and anything in its mouth AND you have the chance to be relatively back to normal body wise by summer - GREAT month
that being said i am NOT PICKY! i will take any month that gets me a healthy babe in my arms

We didn't want to have a December baby because of Christmas and my dd's b-day is in November. It's so hard to buy her gifts for her b-day and then turn around buy her Christmas gifts. She's 9 so she's starting to get to be hard to buy for. Not to mention I'll shop early and then someone will buy a Christmas gift I got her for her b-day. LOL Seems silly, but it's hard so I didn't want to add another person into that mix.
We didn't want a January baby because of 5 family members (immediate family) already have birthdays in January AND my dh goes out west every year for a week or two in February and I didn't want to be home with a newborn when he leaves in February.
We didn't want February because of that trip.
Here I am throwing caution to the wind to be due in December which will make all of this more difficult. LOL

Originally, a baby in April or May was ideal. BUT, we didn't really start trying until October, so the April/May baby was out. So, we were excited for a july baby. I then hoped for a September/October baby...Now, i'm aiming for December. I don't care when anymore. I just want one - happy, healthy, beautiful.
