Well, AF is finished, I'm on CD7 and should ovulate mid-next week. Dh is NOT on board with TTC this month. I'm thinking that I may have to try to sway him. He may be able to be swayed if I buy some wine! LOL

We'll see. I really, really don't want to have a due date in December because of Christmas but I'm kind of not caring about that right now. LOL Wish me luck. We only have two condoms left in the house so we'll see if I let him buy more....

Girl, I am all for just drink and go have a December baby!

Remember...we are twins...and SEPTEMBER was the LAST MONTH EVER that I was going to have a baby...because I am a teacher.

Yep...here I am...due in Sept, of course.

You are probably MEANT to have a baby in December. And now that I'm used to the idea, I'm all over the baby in Sept thing =) You'll come around!

Now to work on DH...

Jessica, I had a few cycles before we started TTC where DH wasn't really on board yet. And I would get him not to prevent sometimes when we DTD. Then he would change his mind and want to prevent other times. And it really drove me CRAZY. It was so hard on me with his indecision. I was sad and angry whenever he flip-flopped.

I hope you don't continue to be stuck in that place, and that you and DH are able to get on the same page. It can be really disappointing to keep hoping that you can convince DH, and then he just doesn't change his mind.

Good luck with whatever happens!

Jessica sorry to hear your frustrations on this with DH being so wishy washy... ya know he probably doesn't want you to go thru such tramatic painful loss again. You're the love of his life and he can't stand to see you in sad, in pain so to him preventing right now is probably his way of trying to protect you from more of that... going thru another loss... but he needs to understand there's no guarentee's you'll ever go thru another. So to prevent is to prevent the positive outcome as well and if ya don't try well he'll never know. So perhaps express it to him and maybe not get too technical on the whole ovulation timing thing as much as "let's make a baby, let's not use protection right now" or something simple where it won't turn him off to the idea.

I recently posted something in reguards to trying to get DH's on board with the TTC after a loss... I'll cut/paste it to the info area and share the link on your thread here. I'm not sure about everything it says, I know my DH isn't super crazy to hear about the technicalities of my cycle LOL ya know? It's not a mood maker if you KWIM?

Thanks for posting the link, Celena!

Well, last night we DTD... My dh knows NOTHING about TTC or woman's cycles, or symptoms of ovulation, or any of the logisitics of TTC-- it's kind of cute how little he knows about it. LOL Well, he asked me, "When will you start cycling again?" (Translation: When will you ovulate? LOL) I told him, "Well, I'm on the 7th day of my cycle and last month I ovulated on the 15th day of my cycle". He thought for a minute and then rolled over towards me and never got up for a condom! LOL

Now, he fully knows that the month I got pregnant in December I ovulated WAY early in my cycle, two cycles ago I ovulated later in the cycle, and then last month I ovulated like normal around day 15.

My kiddos will be at their Daddy's house this weekend so it will be just he and I. Then they go back on Tuesday so again it will be just he and I. I should ovulate around next Thursday-ish. IF I can get him off of the condoms through Tuesday I should be good! LOL

We'll see......................

Oh and Angela, you're right. Sometimes in the most inopportune months you just don't care and it happens. I kept trying to think of when I could give birth that would allow me to cover some of the vacations from school when I would need childcare but I had to throw that thinking out the window. "Ok female organs. I'm going to get pregnant in August so I can give birth in late May. This way I can cover June, July, and August until the kids go back to school with my maternity leave." LOL If only it was that easy!
