So I have this street that I drop off my elemantary kids for school on that is right near the school...and today when I went to drop off the kids these policmen were there on the road asking people to pull further down the road to drop off kids so that it wouldn't cause a bottleneck at the intersection...which I was ok with. Well..this cop looks at me and my huge vehicle ( you cant miss it...a 15 passenger van with cute little family stickies on the back -- 11 of them!), and says..."Hey...I see you on this road all the time....you always go the speed limit. " Well...I said "Yes...I have kids at all three of these schools and I practically live on this road!" (Our high school, elementary and jr high are all on the same road...just several blocks apart!). We laughed for a bit together and he thanked me for being careful! Well....I have to say...that made my day! After years of getting tickets and warnings and whatnot...I actually had a positive interaction with a cop today! Man I love it when your day starts off good...just makes everything better...ya know?
