I went to get a water bottle out of my garage and a mouse ran across the floor. Called DH and told him to go buy some traps. I am sure we have some around the house but it is just easier to go buy them instead of look for them. Plus, I know my puppy chewed up one of the traps.

I can't remember when it was but I was sleeping and DH came into the bedroom with a flashlight one night. I woke up and asked him what the heck he was doing b/c he was trying to look underneath the bed and stuff. I guess it was before we got our puppy so almost a year ago. He just told me nothing and said to go back to sleep. The next morning I woke up and DH was asleep. I used the bathroom which is right next to the tub. Got up, washed hands and started brushing my teeth. I kept hearing something but couldn't figure out what it was. I saw this shadow from the curtains and it was a darn mouse. DH is sooooo hard to wake up but needless to say I woke him up. He took care of it all for me. I hate mice. Don't know what it is but they creep me out.

Hopefully this one will not get in the house. We have lived here for almost 4 years so this would be the second mouse. Is that bad? LOL

oh I'm sorry you have mice problems. We had a mouse invasion when we first moved into our house, so we hired Orkin to get rid of them. Long story short, Orkin would not do the job, they refused to go under the house where we kept hearing them, and they wanted to set traps outside when we were seeing them inside of our house. We gave Orkin like 3 weeks to try and get rid of them but our problem seemed to be getting worse, so we got our money back. We went to Target and got some D-con poison trays, put them behind the couch, and under the house (didn't want our dog to get to them) and within a week all the mice were gone! It's been two years now and (knock on wood) we haven't had any other problems.

Good luck getting rid of them, they are nasty little creatures around the house!
