Hi There. I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm a 30 year old mother to my dear boy (10mo). I am currently in the middle of an early m/c but am eager to try to have another baby soon. I know I need to wait after at least 1 regular period before I try again (maybe longer) but I am hopeful that I can conceive a child again and have a hh9months.

Any advice as far as how long I should wait, how long I may expect to still see BFPs? Have any of you had complications since your previous loss(es)?

I'm so sorry for your loss As for waiting, do what feels right. I waited past the 3 normal cycles that my doctor recommended and still lost my next two. This time I am only waiting to get at least one AF (hopefully in the next couple of days) and then start trying. Only you will know what's right for you.

Hugs. So sorry for your loss. We started trying immediately after our loss. We didn't wait.

Hope you get your BFP soon.

HUGS... I am so sorry for your losses..... Welcome to the board...

As for your questions... thier is no answer that fits everyone... As for trying.. as long as you have no medical conditions that your Dr has told you to wait on... You can start as soon as you feel you are ready..Thier is no medical reason to wait after a M/C... (unless you have a medical condition)... And your body won't get pregnant.. unless it is ready.. With that being said... Some ladies will see thier BFP before they even get thier first BFP and go on to have a healthy baby... Than other ladies (like my self).... Have had multiple back to back m/c's..... It all depends on your body, what is causing the m/c (if anything is causing it).... But you just have to keep faith... HUGS!

I asked the same question not too long ago and the awesome ladies here were very supportive...but they all said pretty much the same thing....go ahead and try as soon as you feel ready. I like that advice....as to me...I have had 3 back to back loses and we can't figure out why....I hope we can all join a ddc soon and go on to have a happy and healthy 9 months! Good luck and welcome to an awesome group of women!

Im so sorry for your loss. You have definitely come to the right place though. The women here are the most supportive, caring people you could ever hope to find... as for your question, I waited for first AF after m/c to appear (last wednesday!) before actively TTC, but I agree with Kary. If your body is able and ready it will .

Hello Veritas and to TTCAL!

I'm very sorry to hear you're going thru an early loss right now. This is not an easy time and it's very hard emotionally, physically. Allow yourself time to grieve, as you heal both physically and emotionally. Our hormones reek havoc on us during pregnancy and thru our losses, so don't hesitate to let things simmer on the TTCAL front until you've gone thru the physical part of it. It's not easy period and we're all so different as to how we handle out losses.

Oh I wanted to mention... There's some resources in the "Pregnancy Loss & TTCAL Info Spot" subforum up top that might have some answers, supportive articles that you might find helpful to you right now.

I really do hope that you heal quickly so that you can move forward and that you're on the road to TTCAL very soon... never to have another loss. One is too many to begin with We do have a cycle group for those who are "waiting" to ttcal and you're welcome to join in!

Again welcome to TTCAL and I hope you find it every bit of supportive as we have...
Celena

Hi and welcome.. I am so sorry to hear about the loss.. For my first miscarriage it was a normal miscarriage I wait one regular period and started trying again.. MY numbers were low so it didn't take long for them to go back to normal.. With my second loss I started having a miscarriage Aug 13th, and I didn't want to go to the Dr since I already knew what they would say, and so I sat it out. Well I decided after the bleeding to go see my DR cause I wanted answers as to why I miscarried twice, and found out my numbers were still high.. It turned out to be a suspected eptopic.. I had to wait 3 to 4 cycles before trying again.. That leaves me to where I a now...LOL Good luck hun. WE are all here if you have any questions or just need to vent and talk and get it out of your system..
