Well I had a doctors appointment today and here is how it went. She said that since I have been on Clomid & Femara and yes I am ovulating so its doing what it should be, I'm targeting intercourse at the appropriate times, my levels look good and still I'm not pregnant. So she thinks there is an underlying problem other than just my PCOS. She now thinks I have endometriosis. So the next step is laser surgery for the endo, a hystero-salpingography, and a few other things while they are in there they are going to try everything they can. So they are going to schedule me... I can't get in for the surgery until May/June but I am booking it in. And they also are now testing DH sperm (which he isn't thrilled about but oh well I'm going through everything he can do one thing). So that is the update on me. I am still allowed to try until the cycle of the surgery and will only be out 1 cycle for the surgery and then we can continue to try! Although I do not like that she thinks I have endo at least it gives us some other reason and we can try to correct it. And she also said I have Ureaplasma Infection and she is trying to treat that with antibiotics and it can also make it harder to become pregnant. I'm just glad she is going to the next step and that I finally have hope again.

Wow, sounds like a promising, great appointment Katie!
I got a printout from the re appt the other day on ureaplasma infections and that could very well be what's making it harder to get pregnant. Hope that the antibiotics clear it up and you DON'T have endo. I'm sorry that you have to wait to ttc until the procedure... I heard it's pretty quick 10-15 minutes with minimal pain, cramping & some spotting afterwards. Sure hope they can come get you in sooner!!!
You're a strong woman Katie, you're going to get that and bring home a beautiful baby!!!
praying you get the answer soon and the GREEN light, getting a BFP soon after

Katie, keep positive. My sister has PCOS and endometriosis and her twin girls just celebrated their 1st b-day. She had all the procedures that you described above. I know you will get your bfp and a sticky bean soon.

Just wanted to pop in and let you know that your news sounds promising. Sounds like you have a very supportive doctor. I also have PCOS and endo and have a look in my signature at my little miracle. Remember they do happen. Matilda was finally conceived with no medical help, clomid and tamoxifen didn't work for me, although I conceived Alexander on clomid. Sometimes they just take a little longer. I'm praying that for you, that you manage to sneak in a BFP just before your procedure.

Hugs hun, it's good that your dr has some ideas and thinks surgery will help. I will keep thinking of you and you never know you might just get a bfp in before surgery looking forward to being your belly buddie later on in the year xx

Although the news isn't the greatest, it is good that your doctor is being proactive instead of a wait and see approach. I wish you the best of luck in getting your BFP. Hopefully your doc will help you get everything figured out!

I love it when Dr's actually make a plan and follow through with it. It sounds like your doctor has a lot of ideas about things to try to get you your sticky BFP. Hang in there!

Thank you ladies! I love this doctor. I switched to her about 6 months ago because I was having so many problems with my old doctor. Even since going to her I feel like there is hope every time I see her she had a plan of action.

Katie I'm so happy that your dr. is going to the next step to figure out the issue, not just to try anything to get you pg. I hope that once infection clears up and the endo is out of the way you will get that BFP in no time!!!! Good luck!!!!!!!!
