Did you experience morning sickness?? I'm just curious b/c a lot of people have told me what a great sign m/s is. Everyone i know who has had a m/c after 6 weeks had no m/s just nausea. So i thought i'd ask you! Thanks girls! I don't think i'm m/c i am just curious.

i didnt have any m/s with my loss at all. BUT i didnt have any with my daughter either. my mother didnt have any when she was pregnant and she had 4 kids and not one m/c.
i think people are just different. i dont think you can go by symptoms.

I did not have any m/s at all during my first ph, I actually felt great all the time (up to 7w3d). I also heard about m/s being a good symptom...
That is why during my last PG I had some m/s and I was happy to have it...but it did not matter since I had another m/c at 5w. So i do not really think that m/s is a way to tell..

Yeah i know symptoms aren't an indicator of anything i was just curious who had an who hadn't. From what i've seen it goes both ways. Just depends on the person!

I agree with MafiaMom. Even though I don't have any living children, I've never had morning sickness. Same with my mom. She's had 5 babies and not a single loss and she never had m/s either.

I was mostly just nauseous (sp?) with all my pregnancies (two babies, one m/c) however, I noticed that I was feeling surprisingly good the morning I started bleeding with my m/c and I continued to feel better and not sick so I felt, even before the doctor confirmed it, that I was no longer pregnant.

I have only been pg. once and m/c. I was sick ALL DAY & NIGHT. If I wasn't throwing up I was still nauseous. I threw up any where from 2-7 times a day. A few days I threw up more than that. Sometimes I would throw up like 3 or 4 times in 1 hour. I threw up at least 4-5 times a week. So maybe 2 days out of the week I wouldn't throw up. Like I said though, if I wasn't physically throwing up I still felt awful. My m/s started at about 5 weeks and I m/c at 15w4d. Believe it or not I threw up til the day before that. So about 10 1/2 weeks. I had a molar preg. though and that is one of the symptoms of a mp (severe nausea/vomitting). I was even on phenogran (? on sp) to help the nausea but I don't think it ever did. Sometimes I threw that up.

I felt nauseated throughout the day with my son, and with my two miscarriages I never got far enough along, but not everyone gets m/s so you can use that as a indicator.. Good luck to you hun.

Kate - I have not had a late loss but I can tell you that my doctor said "the sicker you are, the happier I am" he was smiling and almost giddy when i told him I was nauseous (even though I still have not actually thrown up). So while you are right in that symptoms are not a great indication my doctor does like his patients being sick

I did not have any m/s with my pg that I lost at around 20weeks. None of the ladies in my immediate family has had m/s. The only time that I felt weird (like AF symptoms - no cramping but moody) was the week that we lost our baby.

With my pg and loss, I was nauseous quite often, and I did actually get sick a few times. I don't think that symptoms are always a good indication.

I had horrible M/S with my 2 daughters and horrible M/S with my loss. So it was all the same for me. I was sick in bed for the first 3 mths with all. We found out at 12wks that the baby didnt have a hb and it measured up to that day so they said it happened that day. I m/c at 14 wks. Nothing seemed any different than it did with my 2 daughters.

With my first loss I didnt feel sick at all and with my second I felt dizzy and naseous for a couple of weeks. Statistically having m/s does lower the risk of m/c.

Looks like everyone is so different with their m/s experience. I can tell you what has been true for me. With my 1st son, no m/s at all. With 1st m/c nothing. With 2nd son and then twin daughters sick sick sick. From before I took the preg test, until the day I gave birth. This last preg which ended in m/c I was having nausea in the evening until 5 weeks, then it disappeared and I miscarried 7w4d. I think for me, nausea is a good healthy sign, whereas its exactly opposite for others.
H&H 9 months to you!
