I posted this over in the Am I Pregnant board. These are OPK strips. What do you guys think?
This is the post from the AIP board:
So..here I am CD7. I'm starting to get 'slippery CM', not quiet egg white yet (TMI, sorry).
I started taking OPK's on CD5 just because I wanted to have an idea of what a negative OPK looks like. So here are my first 3 days of OPK's. Starting CD5 taken at noon NOT with FMU and then the next two days taken at the same time of day.
I wrote 3/17 on CD7 (today)...I know, it's 3/16 today. I wrote the wrong date! Sorry.
What does today's OPK look like to you? Still negative? I can't possibly be ovulating at around CD7 can I?
CD8 3/17 (below) I plan on having sex tonight, tomorrow night and heck...the following nights thru CD 16
Today's test taken at noon 3/18 CD9:

It looks almost positive... it need to be equally dark or darker.
ALMOST there lady, almost there!! KEEP BD'ing and keep testing!!!
Have you been testing with urine from 2pm to 11pm?
A surge happens in the am in most women, BUT, it does NOT show up until the afternoon on OPK's... so with that said test a couple times a day and you may notive a difference.

Excited for you! I'm going to be doing the same thing, but I need to wait for my hcg levels to zero out first I usually ovulate around day 15 but I haven't had a regular cycle yet so who knows.
 Good luck!!

Thanks. We'll keep BD'ing for sure I've just been testing once a day at noon time and NOT with FMU either. Maybe I'll take a few tests in the afternoon too and see what happens.
Thanks for all the feed back ladies.

What times of the day do you test Colleen?
I'm going to test twice today, just to see.

Thanks Colleen.
I just picked my son up at preschool and asked my girlfriend what she did, she did the same thing....noon and 6pm. I'm going to try 6pm as well as noon today and see what I get.
Thanks

I agree... that last one looks pretty +... I would test one more time in the evening.. I always tested twice.. three times.. Just to make sure. I would do noon, 6 than about 1130-midnight.. And most of the time.. the 1130 was blaring +!!! GOOD LUCK!!!

I just posted today's test.
I'm having doubts and concerns that CD8 is the darkest so far. Do you think I could O that early? I'm going to keep testing and see if CD 12, 13 or 14 are dark or the same. Hum....
This is quiet the experiment!

Just wanted to say that that's happend to me, almost positive, then the next one looked lighter....I'd just keep testing, i'm sure your getting close to getting a + and it doesn't hurt to BD any way...GL!

That OPK yesterday was so close to positive! I think there are 2 options. You could have ovulated already and you just missed the peak of the surge. Or your body could have been gearing up to O, but it didn't quite happen. That happens to me sometimes, I get a positive or near positive OPK and EWCM, but then I don't get a temperature rise. Eventually I do O, though, usually about a week later. Good luck either way!

Hey Joanne!
I know absolutely nothing about OPK's but I can tell you that I ovulated on CD5 (Sunday) this month, so for sure its possible you are ovulating early! Good luck!!

Keep testing thru CD15 if you have to, a couple times a day and I'm sure you'll have an idea by then!
Good luck this cycle
