1. Why does a faint line mean negative?
Because the LH (luetenizing hormone) has not surged which is what is part of what triggers ovulation
2. Should we be bding when the line is faint?
if it's super faint... you won't miss the surger
as it's lighter than the control line, but not super faint... sure because you could surge within the same day or days later... every other day at this time is fine
3. When the line is darker (indicating positive) when should we bd?
anytime, at least once a day, you'll likely ovulate 12-48 hours later
4. When should I start testing?
depending on your cycle day... if you have a 28 days cycle CD5 would be a good day to start. Test between 12pm-11pm once a day for the first 4 days, then twice a day from CD9 on once in the earlier afternoon and once later in the evening so you don't miss the surge
