So I have a few questions.

1. Why does a faint line mean negative?
2. Should we be bding when the line is faint?
3. When the line is darker (indicating positive) when should we bd?
4. When should I start testing?

This is the first month Im going to use OPKs.
So Im not sure about how they work.
Ive been googling it but none of the websites answer these questions

1. Why does a faint line mean negative?
Because the LH (luetenizing hormone) has not surged which is what is part of what triggers ovulation

2. Should we be bding when the line is faint?
if it's super faint... you won't miss the surger
as it's lighter than the control line, but not super faint... sure because you could surge within the same day or days later... every other day at this time is fine

3. When the line is darker (indicating positive) when should we bd?
anytime, at least once a day, you'll likely ovulate 12-48 hours later

4. When should I start testing?
depending on your cycle day... if you have a 28 days cycle CD5 would be a good day to start. Test between 12pm-11pm once a day for the first 4 days, then twice a day from CD9 on once in the earlier afternoon and once later in the evening so you don't miss the surge

If you are using OPK's I highly suggest using the sperm meets egg plan. I think it is explained in one of the sub forums. I followed that plan the second time I got pregnant and it worked in one cycle!
