So ticked off right now!!!! How can someone do this?

This has been making mad and makes me want to severely hurt this person. DH was working Sat. night and got a call to take someone to jail for driving on a suspended dl. It was a friend I went to school with. We used to be best friends in junior high and hs. Anyways, he said she was totally drunk/waisted and was dressed all slutty. To top it off she is 24 WEEKS PREGNANT!!! Not only does she smoke but the stupid b**** is drinking while she is pregnant. I just talked to her like 2 or 3 weeks ago and she didn't tell me she was preg. In fact she told me that she had 2 m/c. You would think she would be careful. I don't think I can ever talk to her again. She already has 2 kids too! Not to mention she just posted this on fb
Just got home from doctor gotta go back in 2 weeks, dont like going to doctors praying everything works this time!!!!

Hi there. I don't want to sound rude or out of place but my opinion is don't ignore your friend. It sounds like she needs help right now and may not know where to turn. Maybe being pregnant isn't what she wanted and needs a shoulder to cry on. I am not saying you have to approve of her current lifestyle, I am just saying when the chips are down you usually find out who your real friends are.

I hope all works out for the best no matter what.

Sometimes I think there is no rhyme or reason to life, especially when I read that women like this get pregnant so easily. Here we stress over tuna, cold cuts, caffiene and other piddly stuff and there are women drinking and doing drugs all while pregnant. There is no justice.

I know it hits home so hard with everything you've gone thru and you know all of us would understand your feelings... we're all trying so hard when people out there do get it so easily and not take care of themselves for the baby's sake.

I hardly ever talk to her anyways. She moved during hs and then moved back part of her senior year and kind of went down a dark path. I think we have only met up about 2 or 3 times since hs. She hit my stepdads car the day of our graduation ( we were practicing) and didn't tell me. I got home and got chewed out for it. Had to go watch the camcorder at school and couldn't tell who it was. She came over one day and got out on the passenger side (like the person on the video did) and had a sunroof or something on the top (like the girl in the video). My sister went to look at her car and it was banged up in the corner. My stepdad sent the cops to her house to teach her a lesson. Didn't get her in trouble but wanted to act like she was. Needless to say we haven't been that close anyways. I may talk to her on here but we really haven't actually hung out or anything like that in like 1-2 years. I think about 1-2 years ago we went to a cardinal's game that was about it.

Umm...just a thought...maybe there is a reason that you two have come into contact at this time in your lives? Maybe this isn't by mistake and maybe there is a bigger plan at work here. Just sayin. Keep an open mind and heart and think of the potential possiblities by you being thrown together at this time in your lives. Just a thought.

Sorry you have to see people abusing their bodies while pregnant when there are those of us who are doing everything we can to try to bring a healthy baby into the world. The others are right, there is not justice...but there might be solutions?

It is sooooo hard to hear about people like this, who get and stay pregnant so easily while abusing their bodies and their babies. There is so much anger and jealousy that comes with hearing these kinds of stories. I can totally understand wanting to distance yourself from this person. And honestly, I would probably do the same.

I'm sure it is true that this girl has her own problems and needs help. Would you be an amazing person (and would you grow as well) if you got involved and tried to help? Sure. But do you have to do that if you feel like it is too much? No way. We can't always do the nicest thing- sometimes we just have to take care of ourselves.
