Nurse called me today and said my blood work came back at 59. Last Monday it was 74. I can't remember. I was hoping it would be lower than that since I started AF but it isn't.
***I did get an appointment scheduled with a gyn. oncologist!!!! FINALLY It is tomorrow at 1:30! Will keep you posted on my appt. and what they decide to do next.
talked to the nurse today and she said in the last 5 1/2 years since she has been there they have never had to refer anyone to an oncologist for a molar pg before. She said they have always reached neg. by now. Also, the nurse told me that they are not going to refer any patients to that oncologist that they tried to refer me to anymore b/c of how they treated me.

Gabriel Matthew- Induced @15w4d on 12/16/09 (Partial Molar Pregnancy). Took 6 1/2 months reach negative after 3 methotrexate injections, D&C 2/19/10, & 6 rounds of chemo Act-d.

I'm so sorry Lisa, I thought for sure your blood work would be to zero by now. I am glad that you are finally getting into an oncologist! and tomorrow, that's great!

Also, the drop is better than none at all, I know you'd rather take that than it being plateaued...

I am so nervous about my appt. tomorrow. Call me weird but in a way I hope that they would just do the ACT-D because I think that would bring me to neg. after 1 treatment. I know it is harder on ppl than the methotrexate but at least you get it over faster.
Celena- How many injections did you get? Did you ever hear about your bw?

I'm so glad you were able to get into an oncologist! I hope your appointment goes well. Try not to worry about it until you hear from the expert. OBs do not know what to do with situations out of the norm, but that doesn't mean your situation is really bad. Good luck tomorrow, and KUP!

Yeah I am super nervous. Not really sure why. I will keep you ladies posted but it is going to be a good 12 hours at least until I get home.
