I need support ladies.( a preg mentioned)

Well my neighbor knocked on my door at 5:30 am this morning in active labor.. Her due date was the day after what my angel's dd would've been.. I know right now I am ok with it.. I am happy that she came to me out of all our neighbors, and asked me to help her, but I know when I see her little baby my heart is going to ache for what I should've had right now too.. I know I will be ok though. Hopefully I will get good news this weekend... We shall see..

i went through kinda the same thing, except it was my really good friend. i too thought I would be very upset seeing the baby. but i wasn't. i realized that someday I will have one of those sweet bundles of joy, and I won't take a MINUTE of it for grantid!!!! not a minute! i believe that this is what this journey is all about for me!! i hope it's not as difficult as you think!! Lynda, it's funny you say that, i've had 4mc's in the past year and everytime, i just wanted to be surrounded by my neices and nephews. It seemed so strange to me at the time that that was what i needed.

LDovey, i know that this must be difficult for you. My only advise is go with whatever emotions you have, if you need to cry, slip away to an empty room and cry, if you need to snuggle and smell that baby, then do it. Whatever works to get you thru this, i say do it.

Thanks ladies.. I am sure I will be fine.. I am watching her younger daughter for her, and I am happy for her and her mom.... It is exciting but one of those bittersweat moments I guess.

Update she had the baby at noon.. He was 4lbs 14 oz.. I can proudly say I am thrilled for her, and I can't wait to meet her little guy.. Maybe this won't be so bad after all..

I have to say that yesterday I got annoyed cause I was only suppost to watch my neighbors DD till 10:30 am, but the person that was suppost to come get her didn't wind up, and my neighbor told me that she didn't trust anyone else to watch her daughter.. So I wound up having her till 7:40pm lastnight throwing off my plans with my parents, but I am one to believe that good deeds never go unpaid and what comes around goes around. So it made me feel good, and then her daughter didn't want to leave me she cried.. I wish I could've watched her the whole time but I just couldn't unfortunately.. Thanks for all the support ladies.
