Hi ladies,

I had my follow up appt with my RE today. DH's SA came back with flying colors. She called him an over achiever. So, he's not he reason for my 4 mc's. I came back mostly normal. I have the mthfr defect, but only on one allele, so, they don't think that is causing anything. They are thinking that it is mostly my age. I'm 38. The doc would like for me to try clomid. She thinks that if i drop more than one egg a month, i have a better chance of catching a healthy one. I'm nervous about it. What if it catches more than one egg, can i handle twins? Or more????? These are the things that have been running thru my head today.

i feel better just typing this. Now, i'm waiting for DH to come home so that we can talk it over.

Thanks for listening.

Michelle

That is great news about DH. Sorry they still can't really find the prob. though. I don't know much about clomid but good luck with whatever you guys decide. I have sometimes heard that is isn't really that much harder with twins. I have a friend that just had twins 2 months ago.

Hi Michelle,

Good to hear about DH's tests as well as yours! How long did it take to get his tests back?

Whatever route you decide to take, I hope you graduate out of here soon.

I'm glad that your RE found no major problems to prevent you from getting and staying pg. The thought of twins can be pretty overwhelming, but even on Clomid, the chances are still low. That may be our next step as well, and I think it just takes some thinking to get over that fear. Good luck with whatever you decide!

Thanks Ladies. I'm hoping I am PG already, so I won't have to make that decision.

Missy-it took 3 days. he went in on a friday and they let him know on a monday. I went yesterday for my follow up and they were showing me his numbers. It was very interesting.

I'm glad it went well. I am also on clomid in hopes of catching a stronger egg. I hope you get a BFP soon!
