Hello Ladies,

I've been intentionally staying away so that I don't let myself obsess.

Anyway, Beta's are still in the pregnant range (though only just!) and hubby is ready to start trying again.

All well and good and I do want to try again (this was our first pregnancy) but I'm scared and that seems to inhibit me. I intentionally prevent the act that creates babies in favor of doing it other ways (those of you with an imagination get what I mean!!!).

I want it, I'm just sabotaging myself.

Thoughts?

you will know when the time is right for you. you just aren't ready yet. It'll be ok. I bet once your numbers get below 5 you will feel very differently.

Good luck

Yes...you will know when the time is right for you. You could start to try again soon...or might find you want to wait a while. There is no reason to rush things. You will know when the time is right. Good luck!

I feel the same way as you do. It has been 14 1/2 weeks since my m/c and I am still not neg. Although I am not cleared to conceive until 6 months from when I reach neg. I may feel like this until then when we are able to ttc.

You will definitely know when you are ready. I don't think you're sabotaging yourself, your body just knows I think.

I agree with the pp, you will want to BD when you are ready for TTC. Maybe DH being ready and it being 'the right time' aren't enough and you need a little more time to heal emotionally. Good luck!

I think it is absolutely normal for you to be afraid, after experiencing your loss. You will come to the point one day where you are ready though, and throw caution to the wind. You want a baby and that will take over the fear, but only when you are ready. It'll come hun, don't be too hard on yourself. Just do what makes you comfortable. ..... But in my experience, it is usually the things that are uncomfortable that help us to grow, discover strength, and confidence. Hugs
It will come, don't worry too much!

Thanks girls - maybe I need to start hanging around here a little more often. I'm not broken, just normal!

I stupidly assumed everything would go back to normal!

On a slightly different note - are the BBs forever changed?

On your last question BBs are different for everyone. My BBs were perky and firm before my loss but after they got droopy and soft. Perhaps strengthen the chest musles may help that some for me at least.
