Question ladies: Is it harder to lose weight with hcg still in system? I have been doing more the last month or so at least and haven't lost any weight. I was just wondering if it had to do with my body still thinking it is pg even though I m/c.

I gained depression weight after my loss and it took a long time to lose it. I still have 5 more pounds to go. I am sure others will chime in with better advice/experiences. I hope you lose the weight you want to soon.

Well I actually lost 20 within 3 weeks of my m/c but then gained about 5-10lbs of it back. 10 of it was from swelling though. I am just curious if having the hcg still in my system is keeping me from losing weight now. Before I got pg. I didn't exercise one bit b/c of my back. I am using the biggest loser on wii so I am doing a lot more than what I used to and I am eating better. It is just frustrating.

I had trouble loosing weight after my loss and they diagnosed me with PCOS and I am insulin resistant which is why I am having a hard time losing my weight. I am now on Metformin. Hope you lose the weight quickly or figure out whats going on. Hugs.

I gained some weight after my loss but I think it was because I started to drink a lot and alcohol has lots of calories. I have stopped drinking now that we are actively TTC and I am now down to my pre-pregnancy weight

I don't know for sure but I'd certainly say it's hard. I purposely didn't gain much but was a little overweight when I got pregnant. Now I can't shift anything, in fact, the harder I try the more the scale goes up.

I actually weigh less than my pre-pregnancy weight or right at it. Maybe 4lbs diff. or so. I just want to lose some of my weight I gained with my back injury (25lbs) from steroid injections, etc. I just wonder if having the hcg in my system is keeping me from losing some of it.

I think my hormonal balance is messed up after my miscarriages... so i gained some weight (which is not typical for me! I've been always struggling with gaining even a single pound!). I ate a loooooot of chocolate after m/c.

I am not sure if it's you hcg that is keeping you from loosing it..
