I talked to my caseworker about my medical card and said it could take a year for the appeal. Not so good!!! Caseworker said that with the card i was issued I have to be pg. it only allows for 60 days after a birth or m/c. I was like well technically I had a m/c but I am still pg. in a way. So basically if my dr. submits a letter saying that I am pg. then I could keep it. So frustrating. Now I am waiting on the letter from my dr. Thinking about going to bi-county and just having them do a pg test and give me a new due date just so I could get the card. How sad would that be?

K LADIES, WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

Would you just go to bi-county and get a new date or see if they accept the letter from my dr. explaining what is wrong. I already explained and she said the only way I could get it reinstated is if I am pg.

Lisa, wow that is messed up how the rules are setup. To get done what you need I would in that situation get the bi-county do a PG test and get a letter from your doctor saying that you are PG to get the procedures done that you need.
I hope it works out for you. {{{HUGS}}}

Get the pregnancy test done, shoot at least you will be covered just long enough to get checked up until you hit zero then tell them you miscarried. I didn't tell my maternity insurance until I hit zero as well because that's when you technically are no longer pregnant.
