Just wanted to give you guys an update. My Dr is having me try Nuvaring for my cysts. Since the bc pill made me sick he said that the Nuvaring shouldnt. I really dont want to take anytime off from ttc but he said my cycles would never get to be normal if I dont get rid of the cysts. He told me I had to use the Nuvaring for 3mths but I said seriously, I am going to be 36 on my birthday, do we have to do this for 3mths. He then agreed we could check to see if the cysts were gone in a mth. I felt much better but there is still a chance I may have to use it for 3mths in order to get the cysts to shrink up.

We talked about me only having a 7day luteal phase this cycle. He said there is no way of knowing if its a true luteal phase defect until we get rid of the cysts because it could be the cysts causing this since I have not had this in the past. He asked me if I wanted him to go ahead and refer me over to the RE. I said yes gladly. So yeah, I see the RE next. I asked him to test my progesterone after we dicussed this issue. He wanted me to talk to the RE about this. Not sure why but hopefully the RE will test this.

I also asked if it was possible that low progesterone caused my last miscarriage. He said that was a loaded question because my progesterone would be low due to the pending m/c so there would of been no way to tell. We talked about progesterone cream and he said he had recommended that for some patients but not to start taking it until I talked to the RE about it.

He said not to worry that they would get me pg. LOL Thought that was kinda funny. LOL

So the plan is to use the nuvaring for 1 mth and then recheck my cyst to see if they are gone. In the meantime I get to go see the RE to dicuss things. Not real happy about taking a ttc break this cycle but at least there is a good reason and it may possibly make getting pg easier and faster.

Oh and the nice thing is that I have already met my RE. He went over my u/s for my cysts when my OB sent me in for one. I really liked the RE so this will be great. My hair lady used the same RE and OB I did and she loves them both.

Good medical care always seems to make this a little easier, not easy, but easier. I'm glad it went well and left you feeling positive. More positives to you soon!
