hey ladies. i'm 11dpo and tested with a FREPT this am, and i got a very faint BFP! AF isn't due till tues (DH Birthday).

i' can't beleive it. i keep looking at the test and just am so affraid to be happy! i have so many questions, like

1) should i stop working out? at least until my 1st prenatal appt?
2) taking baby asprin, should i stop? if so, when?!
3) should i be coming home and laying down after work?
4) doing the acai berry cleanse 14 day - do i stop?

see, i know the doc will answer all of these for me, however, they will schedule me to meet with him in 3-4 weeks! in the meantime, what do i do! just to give you some backround - 1 miscarriage and 1 pregnancy (found out in emergency room i was pregnant, hospitalized at 10 weeks, 12 wks had to get sucher on cervix put in, 4 mnths placed on bedrest until delivery) and 2 miscarriages after that.

now this pregnancy... just need some encouragement girls....

Jessica

Congratulations, Jessica! You might cross post on the Pregnant after a Loss board. A lot of our graduates hang out there and they can give you good guidance.

1)During normal pregnancies, most doctors will tell you it is OK to work out, just don't overdo it. In your case, I would call the Dr. and see what your Dr. says. It sounds like you have an incompetent cervix in your previous pregnancy and I don't know what the rules are on that.

2) Again, ask your doctor, but if you were put on baby aspirin for a clotting disorder, it is safe to take during pregnancy

3) Is probably a personal choice, but I was so tired in the afternoons, as nap was required!

4) If the cleanse is just eating fresh fruits and vegetables then it probably is OK, as long as it doesn't limit calories. If there are any laxatives/stimulants involved it should probably be stopped.

You might also explain to your doctor's office that you have had 3x m/c and a previous incompetent cervix and would like to be seen sooner. sometimes they listen and sometimes they don't.

Good Luck and H&H 9 months

Kat.

PS - Do you mind editing your title to put the words (pregnancy) in parenthisis? Thanks!
