Boycotting FRERs.. the new ones suck!

Tested with one, but bfn. I don't know if it's a false negative or what though. You can see a much clearer shadow of the test line in a bfn result than you could with the white wrapper ones. I know the FRER box that says "New Technolgy! Test up to 6 Days before your expected period" are the new ones. Usually the box that says "Test up to 5 days before your expected period" are the white wrapper ones. Nope, not anymore. I was expecting white wrappers and got pink.

I went to two different stores looking for one that didn't say 'new' on it and thought I found one, but nope.

I'm gonna start using Answers.

Yes, from what I've been reading on various ttc boards, if you go into it knowing there's a "shadow" then you should be good. Sorry for your frustration! Trying a different brand like you said might be great for you.

I'll just move on to a different brand. I'm not spending $18 on something low quality.

Answers have always been my prefered brand. I just like them. When I am pregnant they are positive...when I am not pregnant they are neg....no guessing games. Just my opinion...good luck!

I have had great results with Answer... I just hope they don't change those ones!!!

I'm seriously hoping that these FRER's people are lurking on forums like ours and seeing how frustrated and disappointed we all are. Ugh. I used to love them.

I'm going to hold out for days and test with a Clearblue Digi when it's time for me

I agree with Joanne. I will just wait until AF doesn't show and use a digi. Pregnant, not pregnant is so much less stressful than shadows and partial lines!
