My OB just called to confirm that my Betas are now in the negative range and to let me know about the final pathology report.

Our baby had triploidy which somehow brings me comfort. Nothing would have changed the outcome, it was just a case of when. Poor little thing had it's fate decided from the moment of conception.

When I found out at 14.5 weeks that our baby girl had trisomy 18 someone told me that her fate was already decided, I just needed to make the decision of when...sometimes m/c is a blessing...

I understand how it brings you some comfort. Now you know it wasnt caused by anything you did, or should have been doing or this or that or any of the hundred and one things that our brains come up with when we try to find some sort of reason for the loss. ~~hugs~~ (April Cycle buddy )

Exactly. Now I know there's nothing I could have done differently to change the outcome. As much as you keep telling yourself it, it's nice to have the OB say it and know that's the real reason.
