me on what he wants to do to have a pg I can maintain. apparently my body has built up antibodies to dh. as our antibodies test came back +. I knew there was a bigger issue than "it was too soon after the first one" "or just one of those things" "my turn" etc etc. In a way, I'm shocked they found something. In a way, I'm upset to think I'll always need medical intervention to get and maintain a pg. simply b/c thats not how we approached having kids before. I'm waiting on the info to come in the mail. Then we read it, talk it over and call them. Not sure if we will actually try to ttc w/meds at this time. dh and I had only agreed on seeing if there was an answer on why I lost them, we haven't agreed to ttc yet. though he did say he was waiting on our "book ends" (twin girls) so maybe we will.

I'm sorry that you have to deal with the prospect of medical intervention for TTC. It does ruin some of the magic of the process. It takes some time to get used to the idea. I hope that it does bring you a BFP and H&H 9 months, though!

BUT the silver lining is you have a definitive answer and now you will be that much closer to your BFP, and holding that beautiful baby!!!

thank you all. our antibodies test came back + so now we have to either avoid or have medicated (out of pocket no less) cycles to get and maintain a healthy pg. I've been trying to find info on cost on some of the drugs needed.

After reading your original post, I started googling. I found an article (trying to find it again so I can post the link here) about a woman who'd had 8 losses and they finally figured out that her body was making antibodies against her husband when pregnant. The treatment she receive was that they injected her with her husband's white blood cells over a period of time before she became pregnant again. And she did have a healthy little son. I hope I can find the link. ***off to search***
