I'm pretty sure I have a mild UTI AND I am 1 DPO. I will be going to the doc later today to pee for them so they can make sure I really do have a UTI before they prescribe anything. I am really going to be mad at them if they have me make a co-pay just so I can pee for them. My last doc just called in the prescription the last time I had a UTI--no office visit needed.

**rant over**

Will this cause a problem with possible pregnancy? That's what I'm really wanting to know--please forgive the rant!

As long as it's treated it wont cause a problem. UTIs are super common during pregnancy.

I've gotten a UTI the first few weeks of all four of my pregnancies.

Macrobid antibiotic is what I always get since it's safe during pregnancy.

You're welcome!!

Definitely good you're getting it taken care of. I thought mine would just go away in last month after my loss since the loss was so early...nope, it got WAY worse and it was awful.

I am pretty sure that is the same antibiotic I was prescribed too! I had a UTI the same day I found out that I was pg.

I'm back and no copay! They prescribed Bactrim. They said it was pregnancy safe. The internet has mixed opinions on this. I guess if it is meant to be this month then Bactrim won't hurt.
